It's much harder to create a truly natural red than the super bright fashion colors. Both take skill but a believable copper really takes good techniques. This is amazing.
What? I get a fantastic copper by applying any lightener to my hair. It’s full of red tones.
You can never achieve a true natural red. It's so unique and can't be properly achieved by dyes. My natural shade is so rare that I can't find any match for extensions. It's very red in some lights, auburn in others and strawberry blonde in light. It's the most peculiar colour. Red hair has a strange texture to it as well, mine shines always. I can't describe it, it's just so different from anyone else's hair I've met.

I worked at the same company for 14 years. It was my first and only job. I decided last november to quit that job and chase my dream of starting my own business. I could not believe how many "friends" didn't believe in me and told me it was a bad idea, or passively said "are you sure it will work out?" "are you sure you can handle it?" Well I'm happy to say I can, and I am. I left that job in november and I have already expanded. I'm happy to say I am THRIVING! However as you said they don't want to celebrate your accomplishments. I did not realize how many salty people I had around me and I have been struggling recently with feeling bad or wanting to celebrate my success. It's an odd feeling wanting to be proud of yourself but feeling bad about it. I've been watching for years and I am sooo proud of you!!!

I have/had a friend that didn't want me around when she was doing good she only wanted me around when she wasn't doing that great and she used me and it took me years to see that and I finally decided at the beginning of the year that I'm not doing that anymore and told her how I felt she's no longer talking to me which shows she wasn't a true friend
I've definitely said this before but you've helped me through a friend breakup with someone I was extremely close to for over a decade. I saw her Facebook the other day, and I definitely made the right decision. Honestly I can't believe I was her friend for that long... Or even at all. She was the opposite of what you mentioned, she was never there for me when i really needed her. But if I was doing good, she always needed me as someone to vent to, etc. She used me so badly, and did so many things to deliberately hurt me. She would also gaslight me to hell and back. Gah 😖 it's like I was punishing myself by allowing her to be in my life!! Self harm manifests in many ways. I had to realize that some people don't change no matter how many chances they get.

I have been recently bullied by a group of friends who have shown their true colors after my husband’s death and they are bullying me to quit doing hair. I have been doing hair for 8 years and just now becoming successful with my salon I booth rent at for 3 years. I’m finally free and being me with doing hair vs what corporate wants you to be. It’s been depressing that “friends” would go out of their ways to make fake accounts to publicly bully people and try to force me into quitting hair because I was trying to pick myself up from loosing my husband. It’s true though. Friends want to see you miserable and try to ruin your happiness. I had blocked them from all of our social media and they went ballistic. I had to call the cops but they couldn’t do anything about cyber bullying. I had became suicidal over it but thankfully a few good friends had pulled me out and some amazing clients. Our toddler tries to do hair now so I stayed. So far the bullying has stopped and I’m hoping it won’t come back. People are so quick to bully us That they forget we are professionals and have a lot of training. But also friends will go out of their way to pay people to bully you. Learned a lot from the last 3 months.

Guy: I spent a lot of time surrounding myself with other depressed people when I was depressed. I didn't realise I was doing it but the saying "misery loves company" really can be true. It wasn't until I started doing better and saw all those old friends drop away that I realised I needed to find people who were happier, more successful, more positive to surround myself with, and they are real friends. The real friends also happen to be better at giving practical and wise advice when I'm down. They want to bring you back up to where they are and don't let you just wallow - which is so much better!

When it's true depression, I think it depends on if that person is actively trying to get better or not. They can be a true friend.. and part of that is stepping back a bit when you're in a better space and they're not. A true friend fears being a drain, so quality interaction replaces quantity. They can't keep up with you, so they'll pick days and times where they're doing better themselves to interact. That's different from fake friends who want to keep you in a low point in order to feel superior or have an excuse for staying miserable themselves.

when you perform the airtouch technique, isn't it more convenient to put the airflow on the roots first and then working your way down to the ends? I think this way your short pieces will not cross the long strand as much, creating an unwanted little tangle at the roots.
There’s many ways to do it depends on hair texture. Also blowing real close at the base can blow away the foils below the section. So it’s about the texture and result you want per client

That’s the colour I’ve been trying to get. I’m naturally a strawberry blonde/auburn but I want it a bit more intense. I started by using a lightening spray (John Frieda go blonder) then I used a box dye (Garnier 641 light natural copper) and when that started to fade, I used a toning gloss (L’Oréal copper)

The base color is the copper tint . The LiftMeUp highlight is what gives the dimension and it’s gentle lift

This helps out a Lot. My client wants to go from a lvl 4 red to lvl 7 copper before prom. Originally I was going to balayage her, but might use that lightener additive instead.
Copper/Red hair is very popular here in Brazil! Everyone wants it and consequently there are many free and paid (good to excellent) tutorials of how to do it but none of them like yours. The way you did is completly new to me and I'm so "wow! I can't believe it can be made like this and have this effect!

I've been using a comb similar to that but you can get chunky, medium or fine highlights by the way you hold the hair and you insert the comb. For really fine highlights, you hold it diagonally across the sectioned hair. For medium straight across. For heavy hold the ends of the sectioned hair together. So with that fine comb you could have some real baby baby lights.

Hi Guy, how i can keep my copper color longer! Help! It goes right out after every wash. My hair was previously platinum blonded in a beautiful balayage. So I guess thats why it fades too fast. But im sure you should know a trick! Other than toning with color masks (which also last just one wash) HEEEEELP!!! 🙏🙏🙏
I'm a level 5 with 30% grays at root and gently fades to a 6 warm through the mids 7 on ends. Haven't colored in about 6 months. Any feedback from the hair community. I want this red maybe a tad lighter/more strawberry.
