In the current state of siege, hard breaching is not that important anymore, since we have a lot of characters to intel and track enemies position, u will prefer to go and kill them than to breach and lose time
i think ace is the ideal hardbreacher at the current state of siege, i agree. I have a duo and me and his strats hardly need a breacher, but i do think every team needs some sort of hard utility.
Video needed more tech tips for example.... Deimos can instantly cancel his ability upon activation so the defenders don't get an indicator to where he's @. This is possible because defenders have a small delay before being alerted to Deimo's whereabouts. Zofia can hold down the trigger when shooting her concussions to delay the the explosion. Additionally the concussion has a proximity based detonation meaning it will instantly blow up when a defender is detected giving you intel that someone is anchoring or just simply within the room. (Unless you hold the trigger to delay the concussion) When using Ying's flashes you can roll them along a wall and it will automatically roll into a drone hole, barricade, or recently opened wall that leads into site allowing you to setup an ambush since it's not done to often and you can catch defenders off guard. Funny enough most people don't know you can also plant them on soft surfaces/ barricades too Ace has one of the best gadgets for sound denial!!! Throw along any destructive surface or from underneath to allow you to push while the ace charge Max's your footsteps. For ace in rare instances reinforced trap doors have hit points to them so they can take so much damage before opening up. Ex: your maverick tries opening it up but dies in the process so now you have a trap door that's kaid'd with burnt holes made from Maverick. Simply throw one to the side just enough to catch the trap door in the explosion and it may or may not open depending on the damage it has recieved, it may require more or less... the same applies to hibana as long as there's a breachable surface along the sides
It might be tricky to format, but here's a video idea: The Best Attacker and Defender for every Map (or site, for more precision). Obviously there's going to be overlap. But this list would not only be good for Solo Q'ers to optimize on a team of randos, but also educate on what to usually expect on these sites!
Oryx is a direct counter to shields too. As most of the time a shield will stay facing you and shield down you can use his ability to break the shield and stuff them for a free kill

I gotta say jackal has to be in the top 8. Its weird to think he aint in top 8, he practically has no downside.... you can also without even tracking somone immediately know wheather someone is near by just off of footprints.... he also gets 3 charges to his ability

Gotta disagree with the last pick. Ace got a nerf a bit ago thats made him on par with thermite. His gun is still insanely good but the hard breach itself is easily counterable now just as therms is
@@mizac5929 a bit sure, cant argue with the versatility but i personally think therm is still the better pick, he can get around mute jammers on any wall unlike ace and create a much bigger opening
@@lemur2151 not anymore, quite easy now actually, used to be impossible but with how long it takes to make the hole you can get both off the wall. Now if you run both a therm and an ace, then its impossible to bandit trick if you know how to time it

Iana probably ranks just outside this list at like 11 or 12. She's still really good I just think the operators I discussed in this video are stronger

fuze is getting banned more often because the cluster charge can easily kill half the team and he has a shield

I'd get Ace personally. He is by far the best hard breach and is basically a necessity in most rounds. Plus his guns are really good as well
