I had the pleasure of meeting Roger DeCoster. Humble and a complete gentleman. The type of athlete you would want your child to look up to and idolize. Very, very good man!
...I used to ride my Suzuki 100 in the empty lots in my neighborhood @ Kennebunk Beach, Maine back in the '70s while dreaming that Roger would drive by, see me riding, and sign me up to race (about a 1 in 10 billion chance!!) As it had usually rained and there were pretty deep ruts, that'd be about the time I'd bottom out on the footpegs and go flying over the bars....don't daydream while riding!!! Finally got to meet THE MAN 33 years later, then all I could say is that I'd waited a long time to meet him. He probably thought I was mental or something! : )'
I cannot believe the small amount of views... But I just found it today over 2 years after posting... Great stuff! Post this on KTMTALK and Thumpertalk for everyone to see! If you buy a new bike and it's not orange you are either un-educated or ignorant... Or worse, BOTH! Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki and Kawasaki are like the Toyota of the MX world... They are good. KTM is the Porche of the MX world, built to WIN!
The KTM Limited Edition bikes and Husqvarna's Rockstar Edition are undoubtedly the best motocross Supercross bikes on the planet right now (2018).....but there are bulders who are making other bikes that are absolutely state of the art (Pro Circuit's Kawasakis, Alta's new MXR electric bikes, some of the Motocross Action project bikes, and for the off-roaders the Beta RR and Destry Abbott's KX 500s are just phenomenal!!) Your post/reply was 3 years ago, I realize a lot's happened since then.... : )'

I hope Roger stays in The motocross industry for many more years. Always great to see him at the races.

NICE! If only the music was gone it would be perfect!
Didn't you even watch and listen to this vid before putting it up? I'm trying to listen to Roger but this shitty music is drowning him out.
