Good to see that Ecoflow was able to sort it out with your issues. My Delta Pro has been a workhorse and I have been putting the 3600W of capacity to good use daily.
The same happened to me. I purchase the ecoflow max in june 2022. Fully charged it and when Hurricane Fiona came to Puerto Rico in September, and the power went out I only plugged my medium size refrigerator and after 15 minutes, the overload error appeared on the front screen of the battery. POWER SOLAR the company that sells ecoflow in PR kept my battery over a week to replace it and finally they call me to go pick up the battery, because they fix it. I paid $3500 dollars for battery and solar panel.
Usually, (But not always) when your EcoFlow stops working, then it's because you blew a fuse, or two, or even more, as there are many replaceable fuses in these power stations, which can often blow during sudden surges, or unstable or dirty AC power going into the unit if you are using your power station in the pass through charging mode with Solar or Wall AC connected as you drain from your unit. Once a fuse fails, then it may also causes sudden internal overheating of some components and take some capacitors, resistors, or a few transistors with it. You did mention you saw smoke coming out from one side Doug. (Transistors run hot most of the time anyway, so they can also blow). I would not be surprised if there are internal current draws on the DC side, which are North of 100 Amps from the built in 3.6 KiloWatt Hour Lithium battery pack. You're essentially dealing with an elaborate high voltage power supply capable of DC and AC high currents.
You had a ground somewhere inside the unit. Could be a cause of power going the wrong way and toasting something. Glad they resolved it! I have a refurbish unit heading my way. the Delta max 1600, with a free 120w solar panel.
wow if you got a free panel thats good , their panels are crazy expensive . I've not had a bad time with the units since they are a backup for my main house unit
@@offgridmaryland - yeha it sucks that they sell it now rather than just give it to us. Luckly I got my delta through the kickstarter campaign which gave us 10 years warranty. Or it sold enough to give early backers 10 years.

They’re horrible . Mine is 2 days old , smoked and stopped working , they say in not able to ship and there’s nothing they can do. Horrible customer service . Jackery from here on out . I’m glad they helped you though . These aren’t cheap

Filed a complaint to Ecoflow and waiting... Please be very carefull with new device as from what i saw in the net(after i bought the delta pro unfortunately) people change devices for 4th and fifth time

Please help as this $3000.00 device is like block of concrete to remind me that I am a fool because I bought it.
so if you have AC and Solar plugged in as a power source, with a full battery and a load, Does the solar supplement the AC bypass or does it just run on AC bypass?
I have this same model. Kinda BS that they send you a refurb unit after you spend $3300 on a new unit. They should send you a new unit if they can't fix your unit. I call BS!
They sent me a replacement Refurb unit because i took the chance on purchasing a refurb unit . However it seems it received better support then some who bought new units which i found odd .
Don't worry about it. Hopefully Ecoflow will fix it or maybe send you a brand new unit. Their support team is one of the best in the market. Since I experienced pretty good help when I had issues with my Delta.
That is the same reason why I got the Delta Pro. The customer support is top notch compared to other brands that won't even talk to you when you encounter problems with their power stations.
Haven't had your problem, but I've already had the carrying handle and port covers break on me. I'm pissed with it being so expensive, but I'd really be upset if I had your problem.
well yea i had some small issues like that but the burned up inverter board was not fun but with the fast turn around for the replacement i was happy with the service .
the red light ist the led for status of connection. See manual under point 3 i hope i must never make the same experience and i am waiting of the diagnosis. The problem is that you never removed the screen protector. Never trust a person who wants to preserve their equipment so badly that they don't remove the screen protector and instead live with crappy visibility on an otherwise high technology product.

I never encountered an issue with my Delta Pro when I used it and plugged in an extra battery. Hope it works out well.

When i sent it back in for warranty they had said the mainboard burnt up , they sent me a replacement . Its the risk you take with refurb gear

They did send me a working unit but could not fix the one due to part shortages . If you are able to buy extended warranty I would !

I can honestly say that the after sales support of Ecoflow is great. They do listen and take action as soon as they can.

If you bought it new you need to hound them for an RMA , Cause you have a warranty. I had my refurb unit do something similar and they RMA'd it
My zendure superbase stopped working too....I sent it back and am awaiting them now. Guess it happens.

Never used the AC by pass. But yes solar would be preferred when it was producing

Yes indeed , I have one of these setup with a secondary solar system now and use this to charge my car often still

Eh they are removed now but then i was being lazy after carrying the unit up a flight of stairs
Mine smoked and they won’t fix it or refund me . Had it for 2 days 🤦♂️ . Never buying this brand again
