Just leave them alone! 2/7/2023

This is Mu Arae joining me for a short video on his way to a safe exercise space where he can spend time exploring. He was hatched on September 16, 2021 and joined our family on May 3, 2022. He was produced right here in Colorado by Chris Hardwick and his genetics are as follows: banana, pinstripe, enchi, heterozygous for clown. I have left him alone for the past 9 months other than to target train him in his enclosure and to the door for feeding and managing cleaning and water changes when he is in his hide and I won't disturb him. Just this week he has started actually seeking to come out of his enclosure and despite really no handling since he's been here he is ok with me interacting with him and picking him up to relocate him to the tent. He is so used to seeing me during training sessions and he can see out of his enclosure watching me whenever he wants that he is used to me and does not view me as a threat now. The interactions we are having now have just happened as a natural progression.
