This is my mine and my wife's favorite song to listen to together. Absolutely chill inducing, it really does paint a picture of a particularly peaceful scenery in my mind.

No, no. They are named after the popular sweet breakfast roll... danish.

I'm being pedantic, but anyway..."Nordic" would be a more accurate term, which covers all of Northern Europe. "Scandinavia" refers specifically to the peninsula that contains Norway and Sweden, though the cellist is Norwegian.
And yes, they are very Nordic!

@@pjw2000 if you like being pedantic: Denmark is part of Scandinavia. Scandinavia covers the cultural part of the nordics that conquered or colonised the rest, so Denmark, Norway and Sweden. If you want to talk about the geographical area that doesn't include Denmark, its Fennoscandia( and includes Finland, which is not part of Scandinavia). Nordic is a safer term, but it doesn't cover all of northern Europe(that would include the UK, Russia and the baltics, which, except Estonia, are not traditionally considered Nordic). Countries that are considered Nordic but not Scandinavian are Finland and Iceland. Also the regions of Greenland, Faroe Islands and Åland, and historically speaking: Shetland and Orkney.
