Far more money is lost of rich tax dodgers, when are you going to crack down them? Or the banks and super markets making record profits? I won't hold my breath.
I agree that the Jobseekers most definitely should uphold their end of the obligations, what i don't agree with is the 'money Management' approach for those they deem "in the orange/red" ; they will reduce the benefit to 50% with the other 50% being supplemented with food vouchers 😅 The most they get is $500 - $640 single person a week. Most of that is taken for rent. You can't pay your rent with weetbix and fxxxn baked beans can you ? 😅 This just means one thing - More Homeless. I have to add, with this Government wanting to make cuts everywhere to save cash, it just feels like this is another way to save $$ and make cuts - "Let's create a system to make it difficult for beneficiaries.. a lot of them will lose their benefits and there's the extra cash we need to save"
I'm schizophrenic and I've improved a lot lately, but when it comes to others still "in it" so to speak, and I may be there again, but I have a question. I'm sick, but I have to be on the job seekers benefit as there's no sickness benefit any more. What happens when someone's on the "job seekers benefit" as we all are, their psychotic, poor, yes they might smoke, their in constant fear and anxiety, the world is scary, but they need to go to a meeting about job interviews, they just can't make it, their mind is gone, they move to orange, another meeting passes, red, and who knows what happens next? Where's the sickness benefit gone? Some people find working hard putting it lightly. It's just a question. Even if you did all this, but brought back an option for the sick? The opening line to a song I wrote once says "the money's getting tighter, like a tourniquet" it doesn't need to get any tighter.
Maybe "bridge over troubled water" is a better song to mention. It's more popular. But aside from that the sickness benefit is a less scary stressful bridge than the job seekers. But it is a great goal.
I expect most people want to see the end of people abusing benefits but when is this Government going to stop knocking the poor and start to take action to make wealthy people pay their share of the tax

The first step to successful investment is figuring your goals and risk tolerance either on your own or with the help of a financial professional but it's very advisable you make use of professional.
I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of information can be a big hurdle. I've been making more than $21k passively by just investing through an advisor, and I don't have to do much work. Inflation or no inflation, my finances remain secure. So I really don't blame people who panic.

Can somebody explain to Luxon that he looks more foolish and weak everyday when he lets Seymour to seek the limelight and introduce policies which many National supporters don’t support.
Wow. This will create desperation and crime when these people are made homeless. Controlling how people spend that benefit reeks of government taking away basic choices. Children are already in poverty and national just doesn't care. The negative results will echo in decades to come.
Perfect response to rising unemployment and reduced government spending.
What I say to you Luxon is resign
Spot the egg on the benefit 🤣
@@Bumhole-t1w Sorry your wrong. NZ is a very narcissistic neoliberal country that doesn't give a damn about the poor and community as a whole.

Very harsh!!!
Excellent work….people on the dole need to work harder to be work ready, many use the dole as a lifestyle choice and their dole should be cut…..tax payers shoukd not need to fund blatand bludgers😉
People on the dole need serious training not this nonsense. Head out of sand, please.

beautiful, no mercy for lazy losers
Soon, it will be no mercy for lazy rich CEOs like Luxon. He has just proved to the country that his money is not deserved.
@@djldjldjl lazy rich? I’ve only heard of lazy broke
Hello ❤️🇳🇿🦾😇👋
Doesn't seem unreasonable.
Accountability, communication. How offensive is it to expect that a job seeker should 'seek' for a job. It's all about showing the effort, they're not requiring everyone to be a job "finder" although that would be the desired outcome.
@@f_b8158 it's just called Jobseeker. It is a general catchall benefit for anyone the government deems "not unwell". Do you want the government judging that of you, fool?
How can chris luxon speak when hes flity rich and try make out it's the poor people taking the rich peoples tax money when the only people feasting of tax payers money is the government chris luxon is truly greedy and his ways are out dated
Theres already a payment card where you can only use them at certain shops clowns
