Thanks for opening my eyes to the cropped jackets with full skirts and pants over the last few months. I, also, appreciate how you have shown how the slits lighten the look of maxi skirts. I’m tall, with my height in my legs, and that’s a lot of fabric, but maybe with the bottom slit I’d be more comfortable. Pretty skirt in every styling! 😊-Deborah
Karina, I LOVE your clothes and your shoes and handbags. I'm not a skirt person but you have persuaded me to buy this skirt. I'm in the UK and this summer has been really bad, but I still want to wear light weight clothes. Very pleased that your water is back on.
Thank you so much for your sew a long very helpful. I adore your fabric choice and your styling suggestions. I am so glad i found your channel😊 Gretting from Australia.
I was going to pass on this one but yours is so gorgeous I changed my mind and used your affiliate link. It will be perfect for our summer in Australia. Thanks for all the awesome work you do Karina 😊
I didn't think I would like it, but again you've shown me that I love it. So glad your water is fixed. Thank you for all you do on this channel. I have learned so much. Not just sewing but styling too. I appreciate that so much. ❤
Love this skirt, love YOU!! I used to have a store-bought skirt just like this years ago, and whenever I wore it (which was a LOT) I always got compliments. You convinced me to get the pattern and make one for this fall. :) You look great in this skirt with all the ways you have chosen to style it, and I think the size you made is just perfect! One size down might not look so flowy and comfy as this one!
Well I love it, especially in that gorgeous fabric. Another winner, Super flattering on you. I also love the flat waste band and that the ruffles aren’t too full - I bought it. Thank you Katrina!
I love your skirt Karina, very pretty 🤩 I bought the pattern as soon as I saw it! I’m happy to hear the water is back on too! I can never understand why some people are so negative towards your garments, perhaps they are jealous. 🥱🙄🤭💐
I have always been drawn to dresses and skirts, but I haven’t worn them in more than 20 years because it’s nearly impossible to find any that fit me that look decent. In the past few months I’ve started to formulate plans to make a dress or few. With the weather changing my plans are probably going to go on hold. As usual I love your make and am inspired by the style.
Glad your water supply is fixed! Great looking skirt with lovely styling. My mother-in-law lived by the saying 'if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all' Its a great piece of advice.
I don't like it, I LOVE IT!! For the longest time I have been telling myself that I am not going to make a tiered skirt. Now I have to make one after seeing yours😩. Thanks a lot lol. The skirt is absolutely beautiful.
Love the skirt fabric. All the pairings with your amazing makes look great. Just got my winter fabrics for winter clothes and even though it stays warm in southern California until November, just getting a jump on my winter outfits.
I really enjoyed this tutorial about a one of a kind tiered skirt. You looked amazing in it and all the other ensembles you modeled. I somehow haven't seen your vlog in ages and you look younger somehow. I give you an AWARD OR prize OR RELOJ for the front bottom tier slit you designed. What a great idea - I want to go back and change all the unslit tiered skirts I have sewn already. Thanks for all your ideas and I know it is hard work!
I did show it. I just added 1/2" extra seam allowance to the piece and did not cut it on the fold. I sewed the slit closed just at the top for about 1" to be able to gather it to the 2nd tier. That's it.
🧐 Have you trimmed your hair shorter again? Look at you 🥰 I’m still umming and ahhing over this pattern. Like everyone else, i have 10 million tiered skirt patterns. But i don’t have _this_ one. Mwahahahaha! Your creation is absolutely beautiful, as they always are! I love your slit idea. Maxi skirts are my favourite, but they get so hot!

You look stunning with your new hair cut. Of course your sewing talent shines as well.
Thank you so much
I like the fabric, so pretty. It's a winner when you can match it to at least 3 things already in your wardrobe. 👍🩷
Thank you for the sew along. Yes, it’s a happy sew. I wear long Maxie’s. For skirts. Much easier to coordinate my wardrobe. 🎉❤
You did a beautiful job on the skirt. You should tuck in more. Really shows off your shape. ❤
Beautiful fabric, beautiful skirt on you.
Love your fabric choice! It is a beautiful skirt! Very inspirational!
That hair length looks great on you! Skirt is beautiful
Thank you!!
Your skirt looks wonderful Karina but your haircut looks amazing.❤
Love the skirt! AND you have beautiful hair. The new HC is great looking.

Beautiful skirt! It looks gorgeous on you!!
Gorgeous skirt!
Love this! So beautiful!
Love this amazing skirt, wish I was tall enough to carry off the great print you picked. Just loving your shorter hair style 😊
Love your haircut, and the skirt is lovely. Ordered it using your link. 😊
I have been wondering about your water situation--so thankful for a good update!! Thanks for keeping us posted.

You are so welcome!
That pattern looks like the perfect blend of fullness without being too fabric hungry.

Thanks! Ease is always so subjective, I'd probably just reduce the waistband and the 1st tier and keep the 2nd and 3rd the same :)
I live the slit. It’s a perfect style element.
Thanks! it was an easy detail to add.
That is beautiful fabric! The jacket is perfect with the skirt. P.s. your haircut looks fabulous 😊
Beautiful garment. Love the blue with green.
I LOVE it!
Love all your styling ideas Karina. Your skirt is beautiful.
Thank you so much :)

Thanks! I love the clean look on the front.

Great skirt. I love the blue and green.
Thank you great tutorial as always. Glad you now have water we don’t realise what we take for granted.
Having water again is amazing! they had to make the well deeper and change the pump. It took a while.
Love the skirt fabric. All the pairings with your amazing makes look great. Just got my winter fabrics for winter clothes and even though it stays warm in southern California until November, just getting a jump on my winter outfits.

Karina…that fabric is gorgeous! Your skirt turned out beautifully!
I bought the pattern and can’t wait to make it ❤❤❤
Yours is amazing!! Perfect fit and love the fabric
Hi, how did you do the front split please? Thanks
I did show it. I just added 1/2" extra seam allowance to the piece and did not cut it on the fold. I sewed the slit closed just at the top for about 1" to be able to gather it to the 2nd tier. That's it.
Hi, so sorry I missed that part. Thanks, I have used your link for the pattern and love your version
Love the haircut. I'm assuming the water shortage had something to do with it... But looks great

Lovely surprise and fabulous styling options. What pattern is the top that you’re wearing for the main part of your vlog?
Cadence dress from Love Notions :)
@@LiftingPinsandNeedles thank you..the neckline and sleeves are so beautifully feminine 💖
