This legend is used in this song to portray the pain of unrequited and impossible love. The lyrics of the Sonata Arctica are very poetic. If you listen to the other songs, you will see that they are all like poetry. That's why I love this band, it's my favorite band after Iron Maiden. Nice reaction. I like Sonata Arctica too. Did you know that their singer Tony Kakko is good friends with Nightwish? He's been a guest male vocalist for Nightwish a couple of times. Another Finnish band you may like is Wintersun. They also have ties with Nightwish. Their drummer (Kai Hahto) is the current Nightwish drummer and their bass player (Jukka Koskinen) will be joining Nightwish on their upcoming tour, because their former bass player (temporarily) stepped back from public life last January. @@luxetveritas9196 Never forgotten :) Amorphis is definitely worth of listening. What attracs me in Wintersun is its "density", richness of layers. - I think we cannot compare these two bands since they are so different, both equally good in what they are doing.
