These cute, cozy and charming ear warmers are all the rage. But - they can really be tough to sew with the bulky layers. I've come up with a technique to help make this sewing machine friendly.
The colorful fabric I'm using is from Backstitch fabric. The faux Sherpa can be found in most fabric stores and it comes it a ton of colors and prints, too!
You'll need a ruler, a cutting mat, a rotary blade, a sewing machine, pins/clips (optional) and I recommend a 90/14 or demin needle. A serger is wonderful for this project if you have one. Just be sure not to use it on the final straight stitch.
    SIZE **SUGGESTIONS**:
Height varies from 3.5” - 4.5” - choose whichever you prefer.
    Length (going around the head):
    *Babies: 12” for contrast fabric & 10” Sherpa (plus 2 tabs @ 1.5” wide - each x height you’ve chosen).
    *Toddlers: 14” for contrast fabric & 12” Sherpa (plus 2 tabs @ 1.5” wide - each x height you’ve chosen).
    *Children: 16” for contrast fabric & 14” Sherpa (plus 2 tabs @ 1.5” wide - each x height you’ve chosen).
    *Tweens/Teens: 18-20” for contrast fabric & 16 - 18” Sherpa (plus 2 tabs @ 1.5” wide - each x height you’ve chosen).
    *Adults: 22” for contrast fabric & 20” Sherpa (plus 2 tabs @ 1.5” wide - each x height you’ve chosen).
