Bro! Two things: first, great vid (as always!), and second.. I swear I didn't watch this video until just now!! LOL other than the fact that we used completely different teams (as far as MAG v PHYS), I kept thinking throughout this entire run, omg that is exactly what i did and even our commentary is like identical! I love it bro. But you do provide some nice extra insights that I didn't actually know, like the set pattern of Behemouth, that was great info! Great run!!
Thanks man! Really appreciate it, as always :) I was thinking the same thing as you in terms of our commentary and how we took completely different approaches between magic and physical. Honestly, I think that’s the sign of a good crisis dungeon, being able to take different approaches to tackle a tough challenge! Also, it made me so happy when you said the poison resist was bait in your guide. I felt the same haha
lol thanks. Normally, I wouldn’t push them so hard, but after nuking 3 out of the 5 bosses with megaflare, I wanted to make sure people could get access to that ability if they want to use the same strategy.
I’ve been wishlisting power soul for a while since it seemed like a great r ability sub weapon for aerith with sunbrella. I’ve been hard focusing those boost mag/ phys/ ability sub weapons for a while since they seemed like great all around options for any fight compared to the elemental boost ones that are more specific. I have it power soul at OB7 finally but completely forgot it also had non elemental damage on it when used as a main weapo. Cool to see it getting some actual use in a fight.
🤣 neutral damage God Cloud is absolutely ideal for this as well. Good plan! I skipped Zidane Sword, and I rely in Ice God Sephiroth when there is no elemental weakness but no resistance, so I needed to try something new here.
Ehh, I’d personally rather they use an AOE poison with almost no upfront damage, vs. a massive instant AOE damage attack. I think we can mitigate way more of the former if we plan correctly. Also, in a situation like this where taking poison resist means losing out on a 30% damage boost (or even greater if you’re bringing MATK up buffs), I think bringing the poison Esuna is more than worth it. (I’m mentioning things that you didn’t necessarily bring up in your comment, but I wanted to share my full thinking for the context of poison in this specific crisis dungeon)

What a great guide! I haven't played with EX2 Bahamut since he released. Time to go do that and then come back lol
Haha thanks! Good luck with Bahamut EX2!
Yup I'll be checking out your bahamut guides later on lmao. Great run!

Thanks! Yeah, I was completely surprised by the amount of damage it could do when I built around it.
I plan to bring Neutral damage God Cloud+Tifa and a healer.

Aoe Poison is the worst ability an opponent can use.
