90s ALL JAPAN was seen as the pinnacle of the Japanese style of hard hitting great action in the ring. But you could DEFINITELY have a point to say 80s ALL JAPAN was the real high point. This match is textbook brutality mixed with amazing story telling.

You know it’s a big match when Stan the lariat has a fresh cut 😆. He’s such a nice guy in interviews in his older age now, but he was one brutal MFer , esp to native talent in Japan
