Only KAI can wear a scarf and dark sunglasses together, and still look sexy and Hot!! But, anyway, the dark visuals and cinematography throughout the video was gorgeous, as well as KAI's various wardrobes and hair. Kai is the whole package, in visuals, choreography, vocals, and swagger. I have read many theories of the concept of this video.
I am also thinking, there is a "Spy" kind of element in this video, with the many disguises that Kai had gone through. However, I love the ballerina scenes in the video, which added an elegant, sophisticated feel. The Caribbean/Island sound was a nice choice. This is a song that you can groove to no matter what time of the day it is, in my opinion. This video and song was very entertaining. KAI is definitely on another level of artistic expression. I think the song is definitely a nod to his teleportation power. He says the line "catch me if you can, let's race". The lyrics of the song were changed for him so I think that line was changed to match his concept. Also the name on one of the IDs was Frank William which is a reference to the main character of the film Catch Me If You Can. In the film Frank commits fraud and is on the run from the FBI. He's a wanderer like Kai except Kai isn't running from the FBI.

I noticed y'all caught those ballerinas - but what you didn't catch was that the name on the ID right before you saw them was "Billy Elliott". It's taken from the movie. Now how they figured to put that in there is beyond me, but it's clever as h*ll. 🙂
kai did ballet as a child so the ballerinas and billy elliot ID is directly tied to his background! I love that they added it.
The name on the other ID is also a film reference. The name Frank William is a reference to the main character in the film Catch Me If You Can.

EXO is a diamond not only of SM but of the entire K-POP industry. I sincerely apologize, but the visual effects of EXO are too powerful, as soon as they appear on the stage, they capture you with their dazzle, not letting you go until the very end. It's been a whole 10 years, but they simply have no equal in live performances.
