I don’t think he would’ve. He was already on high alert for telling Nanika to kill his mother if they couldn’t leave. Also the rules of the Zoldyck state “family members cannot kill each other” and while most of the family consider Alluka an it, Killua was the only one to call her family and show her compassion. If he had told Alluka to kill Illumi, he would’ve been forcibly escorted back to the mansion and he would be hypocritical to his message.
He needed to make the wish as small as possible so the next time alluka makes her own requests it would easily be accomplished. Dont forget, killua's main goal is to wish for gon's health back.

It would've worked, but more people would've died (probably) than just by sending hunters. At least that's why I think they didn't use her.
