It's peak may not compare to other big names like naruto (Hate it or not, naruto vs. sasuke and kakashi vs obito are one of the best choreographed fights), but it doesn't have any bad scenes. Power system is well written, pros AND cons alike.
Why does no one mention she is literally one of the most terrifying people in like.... Any media ever. Anything can happen just by her saying “ ‘Kay”. If she desired she could erase the universe. That’s horrifying.

I like how every time someone will say nanika in the show, the subtitles will translate the word to ‘something’. Probably because her name means ‘something’ in English 😖
Absurd attention to detail: in wish granting mode Nanika says "'ai" which can be a casualization of "hai"("yes" in Japanese), but can also be a wordplay on the name of the creature Ai from the dark continent, which is believed to be what Nanika actually is (possessing Alluka's body). But when Killua asks for Nanika's forgiveness, you clearly hear the "h" pronounced because here Nanika is just Killua's sister. I can't read Japanese so idk if it's in the manga tho, but I can't help but think that after an arc about the true nature of humans and monsters, this sort of subtlety isn't unintentional.

For some context behind nanika/aluka. The thing she wants in return for a wish depends on the last persons wish. If someone wished to be a millionaire or to be the most powerful person on earth. The next person will have to pay a HUGE price. Usually a wish that big from the last would result in the next persons death next time they tried to wish. Usually asking for organs, brains, or other body parts. The smaller the wish the less punishing it is. Like if you wanted to simply wish for a yoyo the highest price would be a fingernail for the next person. The price can usually range between a kiss to something that would result in death, the highest price I've seen is a brain. If the person for some reason the wisher can't provide the item or action nanika wants, the price will increase. If you deny her 3 times you die. In this case the price/value resets back to minimal tasks. I believe that's the main rule. Not sure if I got this entirely right because it's been like 2 or 3 years since I watched hxh.
To add to that, iirc, the wish price may be more than death, in the sense that it can also kill a certain amount of people close to the person killed. Iirc, one of the wishes made a servant have to pay with her life and the life of something like 13 other people close to her

Absurd attention to detail: in wish granting mode Nanika says "'ai" which can be a casualization of "hai"("yes" in Japanese), but can also be a wordplay on the name of the creature Ai from the dark continent, which is believed to be what Nanika actually is (possessing Alluka's body). But when Killua asks for Nanika's forgiveness, you clearly hear the "h" pronounced because here Nanika is just Killua's sister. I can't read Japanese so idk if it's in the manga tho, but I can't help but think that after an arc about the true nature of humans and monsters, this sort of subtlety isn't unintentional.

Damn I remember when I first watched HxH, that scene with Killua asking Nanika to never come out again HURT. They were both so sad, glad Killua realized she's as much his little sister as Alluka.

For some context behind nanika/aluka. The thing she wants in return for a wish depends on the last persons wish. If someone wished to be a millionaire or to be the most powerful person on earth. The next person will have to pay a HUGE price. Usually a wish that big from the last would result in the next persons death next time they tried to wish. Usually asking for organs, brains, or other body parts. The smaller the wish the less punishing it is. Like if you wanted to simply wish for a yoyo the highest price would be a fingernail for the next person. The price can usually range between a kiss to something that would result in death, the highest price I've seen is a brain. If the person for some reason the wisher can't provide the item or action nanika wants, the price will increase. If you deny her 3 times you die. In this case the price/value resets back to minimal tasks.
I believe that's the main rule. Not sure if I got this entirely right because it's been like 2 or 3 years since I watched hxh.
To add to that, iirc, the wish price may be more than death, in the sense that it can also kill a certain amount of people close to the person killed.
Iirc, one of the wishes made a servant have to pay with her life and the life of something like 13 other people close to her
