Great jamming from a festival band. I see this was posted in 2011, but it must have been recorded close to 2001. Tom Baker (trumpet on the right, when shot opens) died in 2001 at age 49 of a massive heart attack. His family suffered from a genetic heart defect and in this video he looks bloated and unwell. Such a shame, like thousands of Australian jazz fans my age, Tom Baker was the best player of anything he picked up, and surrounded himself with fine hot jazz musicians. I've had the honor and pleasure of being in his company on many gigs. He played at our wedding in Sydney in 2003, along with Ian Date, Roiger Janes and Don Heap and my mate Phil Layton and I got to play along with the band on a couple of numbers. It was an unforgettable day. We miss you Tom Baker and Roger Janes

Ed, do you remember when you played in the legendary Eddie Condon's club in NYC with Red Balaban? I do. Regards

Fellows you need a cameraman who can synchronize the soloists with their instruments during solos; it looks crazy otherwise!

Great playing , being a Jack Teagarden fanatic this was like one of his standard tunes , I can tell Dan learnt a lot from Teagarden recordings.
The sync in the recording is off

This thing is really out of sync. It's kind of funny to see a baritone sax play by itself.
