can someone xpplain to me what the loud high pitched sound is? ive been on hundreds of flight to malaga and back and everytime i hear that sound i always wonder: is it a fan, the APU, or the fuel hydraulics
I used to play this audio with my headphones, sit in the couch, close my eyes and pretend to be in the Plane. Really a good feeling.
I forgot to Say that I turn on my air conditioner too to feel the A/C from the cabin

That specific sound you hear while boarding, is the hydraulics and fuel pump systems of the 737.

It's the sound of the 737NG fuel pumps.
The Overwing Exits are near the HYD Reservoirs and the Fuel Tanks so it's a mix of both
