Petition Debate - Justice for Biddy

On Thursday 17 October 2024, the Legislative Assembly of New South Wales debated a petition presented to the Parliament by Mr Phil Donato, Member for Orange, on justice for Biddy Porter.
The petition asked the Legislative Assembly to call on the Government to initiate Parliamentary Inquiries into the Director of Public Prosecutions and the Mental Health Review Tribunal, reform Victims’ Support Services, and conduct a coronial inquest into Bridgette 'Biddy' Porter’s death ensuring justice, transparency, accountability, and fairness for victims of serious crime.
