Jan Brady's hopes are dashed when she realizes she didn't win the essay contest. #BradyBunch | Now streaming on Paramount+ Where to watch: para.mt/BradyBunch
The beginning of Jan hearing voices in her head. They should have taken her to get checked out. She had a whole conversation with her other personality.
I think a lot of kids of today would just take the award and not have so many conscience issues. It's good for Jan that she did and we know what happens later. Accepting the award would have eaten her up inside.
...and the voices continued, getting louder, meaner, and more strident with each passing year. After decades in the state hospital and a brain fried from ECT, Jan's insurance finally ran out. Now Jan self medicates in LA's notorious skid row with George Glass.
Notice Carol's questionable flower arranging skills. Apparently the Schwartz's struggled to make Carol more dynamic and always tried to give her "busy-work", even if it had nothing to do with what was going on with the plot. I mean, in a way it worked. Can you imagine how dull this scene would be if both parents were sitting reading newspapers?
....Sting, come get your Girl, she's hearing, "VOICES in her Head"! (2:09) ...either that, or she's become NORMA DESMOND! (1:25) ...ha-HAA!! ...but seriously, can't that Teacher ADD!??? (1:57)
The writers portrayed JAN as constantly insecure and neurotic----which annoyed the actress Eve Plumb. In reality, Eve Plumb is the truly arrogant one and dislikes the Brady Bunch franchise---even though it's her Only real claim to Fame.
must be kidding...well, here's the reply I think you were looking for. Honesty and integrity wins every time. And there is nothing, I repeat NOTHING, more valuable in life than a clear conscience.
Well, at least she was good at math 😅😅
Jan's inner voice is transmitted through shortwave from a desert island.
Jans honesty was the real winner❤

Bobby always had the best one liners 😂
Mrs Watson should have never compared Jan with Marsha!
God bless Jan. For doing the right thing
The root of Jan's inner voices!
Jan did the right thing. She would have looked worse if someone else pointed it out.
This episode teaches an important lesson on the moral principle of honesty. -RH
Marcia's lying about giving up her awards
I know, really! Sure, Marcia!
Carol's smirk after Marcia says that!
Nora Coombs, Norris Coombs, Nora Succumbs! Haha!
Jan is hearing voices in her head again.
That was the teachers fault.
No shit, Sherlock.
What difference does it make who's fault it was? The point was, she couldn't live with herself if she'd been deliberately dishonest. Could you?
@@welcometogreenaquasglen1846 Well. Of course. But the teacher shouldn't have gotten her math wrong and sent her home with false good news.

At least THIS beat out that raggy black wig in creating the NEW JAN BRADY!
Next week: Jan Brady becomes the Green Goblin
"The cunning warrior attacks neither the body nor the mind. The heart, Jan. First you attack her heart."
Nice addition....teacher.
That whole thing was Mrs.Watson's fault for talking to Jan about Marcia.
❤ Love it so much
Love it! ❤ 😊
Was Nora Coombs the same Nora that Greggy married?

unless the teacher miscounted all the kids' essays.

Alice did all the housework. Mrs Brady just passed out the lunches Alice made to the kids.
Jan has the most damaged ends ive ever seen.
Teachers who grade based on “neatness” 🙄

How could seven equally-important categories have a maximum total of 100 points?
Also how can a teacher not realize that someone who allegedly got a 98 got less than perfect marks in several categories?
@@Lava1964 Teacher’s aren’t perfect they make mistakes too !
See Jan, book smarts are more important. Looks go, the brains don't.
Jan was neurotic. Always upset about something.
I was great in math, I got all problems right.
When family members actually supported each other
Jan was 12 years of age.
At 2:09 Schizophrenia
Would the real Nora Coombs please stand up🤷♀️

Wow Jan was a loser at everything

The problem isn't being a loser, it's that even when she thought she won, she was happy because she did something Marcia never did.
