Absolutely 100%. Just finished this game a few days ago and I can’t get this specific part outta my head. It’s just exhilarating and adrenaline-inducing, incredibly climatic and the violins add that eerie and creepy feeling that Odin naturally presents himself with. I remember specifically that this segment of the song was playing while I was making my final sprint towards Odin for the Last Blow, how he was throwing any and every attack out the wazoo, that shit had my heart-racing and my hype levels through the roof.
This sounds absolutely immense without the battle ongoing in the background. You, a tiny little demigod, with your smaller son with blooming powers of his own and a Vanir witch turned Valkyrie. Against the All-Father, a god of war, the runes, sorcery, amongst other things, and one of three of the creators of the Norse realms themselves. (Yes, you read that right. Look it up. Odin, Vili and Ve.) What can you possibly do.
guess its the same song, its an instrument that is used in horror movies, maybe they used this in the song to more ambiance of danger because.... its Odin...
I like this long version. How menace and powerful this theme, just like how menace and powerful Odin is in Machiavellian way.
