Odins tale is a tragedy sadness madness and sorrow Santa Monica's version of odin is like a dark wizard who stole and killed to obtain his power and knowledge its fascinating if you break it down all he wanted was answers but by any means a ruthless cunning master of manipulation
I really love the bit at 9:16, it's sad but in a way that represents all of the people that Odin has manipulated and killed and finally they are getting justice.
@Xehanort10 Bit off topic, but I actually feel like Odin is how Xehanort should have been. Especially in Birth by Sleep. You know, actually being a manipulator instead of using Terra's stupidity. Odin was seriously so convincing.
This is fucking epic and feels so right for Odin, honestly. Although, I’m still just looking for the actual music that plays when Odin gets his soul extracted and crushed by Sindri. Anyone got that?
1:41 gave me blood borne vibes mainly Maria's theme. they sound similar with the music sounding like it's going full throttle, showing what the boss is capable of.
@@Vayne_Solidor they realy messed up with this. How on earth a final boss track can be reduced like this? Thor theme is shorter as well. And not to mention some tracks that were not even released, like garms theme
There's like half a dozen sub-themes in this fight and it miffs me to no end we didn't get them seperate with the soundtrack release. Thank you for providing us a mix that is closer to the experience in-game!
There are parts of this theme that remind me of the Bloodborne theme, which is fitting for a couple reasons: 1. There’s a Bloodborne reference in the game 2. They share a pivotal theme: one man’s relentless pursuit of knowledge and power… and the countless deaths his subsequent descent into madness causes. All in all, I think this is my favorite theme in the game.
There is a theory that odins has a piece of soul in hungon and munin. Thats why he threw them in a desprate moment, not to attack them but to have an escape route in case he dies (fun fact when freya binds him he also tries to do the same thing). Thats why he cried out a "no" when munin s throat got crushed by freya, because one of his hopes of living got fked. If u think about it, odin always had schemes up his sleeve so this makes a fitting thing for him to do (like thinking of ways to survive). If this theory is corect his last words have a bigger meaning now
Thank you for this! I really wish game osts would just include everything. I couldn't even find the main melody you hear playing throughout the entire game that I loved (you hear it when Atreaus confronts the revived Fenrir for the first time, for example).
That was phenomenal...I had goosebumps for like every single section of this piece 😭 FANTASTIC job, you really gave the All-Fucker's Soundtrack a perfect mix 🥂
i really dont understand people who complain about this boss. Odin is not meant to be a physically strong god like Thor or Baldur. He is clearly older and not as skilled when it comes to fighting someone who knows how to defend themselves. That is why he always gave Thor the heavy lifting. Him resorting to magic makes complete sense for his character.
7:27-7:53 💯Best part of the phase can't change my mind💯 🔥The choir backing up the fight and you're facing off against a man that now has nothing to lose, and throws everything he's got🔥 Edit: and I don't know why but I keep hearing "Sofna Odin's souuul" "Set the realms free nowwww" It sounds beautiful 😭😭❤️❤️
In case you were curious, the lyrics there are “Sortnar goda sol, ragnarokin naer”. Means “Twilight of the gods, Ragnarok is near”. Should’ve been Ragnarok is HERE lol
The original album didn't include the epic parts what make me put the ''ahegao face'' in my playthrough, that was a big dissappoint to me. Thank you for taking your time recording and uploading the full soundtracks, you have my suscription and support. PD: ¿Can i ask for the unreleased version of the second race betwen wolf Atreus and Angrboda in a fox?, i loved that soundtrack since his apparition in the first trailer.
And how did the lack of full-fledged themes in the official, released separately, soundtracks, prevent you from listening to FULL-fledged themes in the game itself during your playthrough???????
You turn them against me, you turn them all against me. Glettings BARA!! Why did you do that? What was it all for? You choose to be nothing!!? Aaaaaaaahh!!!
This theme is the best in this game without a doubt, tbh it's the 2nd best theme in the Norse mythology games. Baldur's theme is still the best to me overall.
"Your own son!? Your granddaughter!? Why!?" "Thrud's going to be fine. I saved her. And Thor... That's one's on you. You turned them against me. You turned them all against me!" Bastard can't even take the blame himself for killing his own son.

Odins tale is a tragedy sadness madness and sorrow Santa Monica's version of odin is like a dark wizard who stole and killed to obtain his power and knowledge its fascinating if you break it down all he wanted was answers but by any means a ruthless cunning master of manipulation
Spit yo fax NorthmenGaming
I really love the bit at 9:16, it's sad but in a way that represents all of the people that Odin has manipulated and killed and finally they are getting justice.
"I have to know what comes next. I will never stop."
"Why did you have to say that?"
@Xehanort10 Bit off topic, but I actually feel like Odin is how Xehanort should have been. Especially in Birth by Sleep. You know, actually being a manipulator instead of using Terra's stupidity. Odin was seriously so convincing.
@@Vayne_Solidor Even though I still have the username III put me off Kingdom Hearts. And yeah Odin's a better manipulator.
@@Xehanort10 KH3 ruined it, really.
@@Vayne_Solidor Xehanort was let off far too easily after everything he'd done.
3:17 Best moment in this song. Gives me chills
1:41 This part and 4:59 are my favorite, and the whole rest of the song gives me chills, I wish the choir in those parts was in the actual song😅
This is fucking epic and feels so right for Odin, honestly. Although, I’m still just looking for the actual music that plays when Odin gets his soul extracted and crushed by Sindri. Anyone got that?
I do! th-cam.com/video/kdDLdOIsYNE/w-d-xo.html
Its part of the ost called "The Mask"
1:41 gave me blood borne vibes mainly Maria's theme. they sound similar with the music sounding like it's going full throttle, showing what the boss is capable of.
it really gave you a sense of threat of who the fuck you are against
The choir at 4:11 is beatiful.
So sinister
You have no idea how i am greatfull to you for uploading this in high quality. This track is amazing but the ost version is incomplete
OST version is not even 4 minutes long, so yeah...
@@Vayne_Solidor they realy messed up with this. How on earth a final boss track can be reduced like this? Thor theme is shorter as well. And not to mention some tracks that were not even released, like garms theme
I like how the last song is called "The All-Fucker" Nice little mimir line
7:27 i have been trying to find this part for so long thanks
3:17 *No, no, NO---!!! Why did you DO THAT? What was it all FOR? You choose to be nothing?!*
Baaaaahhh !!!! *throws "fus-ro-dah"* =)

You can do it yourself, go to clip under the video and cut just that part and listen to it in loop 👍
@@firepunchman fucking hell never knew that was a thing to begin with ty 🤣🤣
There's like half a dozen sub-themes in this fight and it miffs me to no end we didn't get them seperate with the soundtrack release. Thank you for providing us a mix that is closer to the experience in-game!
There are parts of this theme that remind me of the Bloodborne theme, which is fitting for a couple reasons:
1. There’s a Bloodborne reference in the game
2. They share a pivotal theme: one man’s relentless pursuit of knowledge and power… and the countless deaths his subsequent descent into madness causes.
All in all, I think this is my favorite theme in the game.
It’s a lot like a mix between Lady Maria and Ebrietas actually!
what was the bloodborne reference?
@@Shadow_of_Sundered_Star One of Kvasir’s poems is about Bloodborne, and even has the Hunter’s Mark on the cover.

Bruh, the names in the video are hilarious
SOTNAR GOTAR SOR RAGNAROKIR NAER!!!!!!!
The chapter names are killing me. Thanks for this great upload, in so many ways, haha!
This theme is even the music for the Digital Deluxe PS4 Design
That was phenomenal...I had goosebumps for like every single section of this piece 😭
FANTASTIC job, you really gave the All-Fucker's Soundtrack a perfect mix 🥂
The names for the different parts of video are amazing
Grandpa Sicko mode
Can you do a combination of both Odin “the all father” and Zeus “brothers of blood” please.
Now that would be sick
Some names:
The father of all and thunder
The thunderstorm of vengeance of all
The father and the enemy
@@JML_900 those are some amazing song titles man 👍
Bear adding the overall "overture" theme at the end of Ödin's theme: Yeah, they'll love this ;)
Shame we didn’t get to hear it in-game :(
@@o-ng5t69 True dat :T
It's an amazing mix. But if I had one small criticism, it's that the part starting from 6:05 should REALLY be longer, it ends way too soon...:(
9:51 kratos raised his spear and leads everyone to ragnarok , the freedom from odin
i really dont understand people who complain about this boss. Odin is not meant to be a physically strong god like Thor or Baldur. He is clearly older and not as skilled when it comes to fighting someone who knows how to defend themselves. That is why he always gave Thor the heavy lifting. Him resorting to magic makes complete sense for his character.
And he STILL kicks ass physically, he's one of the tankiest bosses and yeets Mjolnir into Thrud and sends her a mile away
I now have my opener for my BBEG battle in my campaign. Thank you mate! Amazing work here!
7:27-7:53
💯Best part of the phase can't change my mind💯
🔥The choir backing up the fight and you're facing off against a man that now has nothing to lose, and throws everything he's got🔥
Edit: and I don't know why but I keep hearing
"Sofna Odin's souuul"
"Set the realms free nowwww"
It sounds beautiful 😭😭❤️❤️
In case you were curious, the lyrics there are “Sortnar goda sol, ragnarokin naer”. Means “Twilight of the gods, Ragnarok is near”. Should’ve been Ragnarok is HERE lol
Finally man, very glad someone did this.
Considering an ahegao involves crossing the eyes, how did you finish your playthrough?
I’ll see what I can do ;)
@@WheatDosJust be a god gamer :)
And how did the lack of full-fledged themes in the official, released separately, soundtracks, prevent you from listening to FULL-fledged themes in the game itself during your playthrough???????
Thank goodness I’ve been looking for this since I first heard it thank you!!!

Baldur's theme is still the best to me overall.
i must have seen three versions of the annotations. and all of them are bomb! OLD MAN YELL ENGAGE!

9:50 This one's for Brok.

9:16 if you don’t like this part of the theme, you gotta leave effective immediately.
I, too, like that part.
Freya throwing atreus.
The end mirroring baldurs fight, beating him and giving him one final chance to stop before delivering the final judgment as well.
This happens with Gna, too.
I wish 6:06 to 6:30 went on so much longer because that's my favourite part of this score.
That same scene where Odin transitions into the next phase is really cool. Where he summons Huginn and Muninn, smacks the book and uses a select element as this music plays is so friggin cool 😎
I did not expect them to go this crazy, was expecting something more akin to Deliverance.
I love how fucking malevolent he looks in the thumbnail
