    Love the model and much respect to Norm for his trigger discipline at the end

      Norm hangs out with Adam, if he didn't show proper gun safety Adam would never let him forget it for the rest of his natural life lmao

    I love seeing that desert camo toy gun proudly displayed on the wall. I have the same one, which I use to help scale weapon patterns.

    Bill says "I'm also not gonna cosplay with it" but also immediately fixes the position so the parts align.

    A great looking kit. It was nice to see you and norm work on a project. The grip detail is usually called checkering.

    • @punishedprops
      @punishedprops  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes checkering! Thanks for the reminder.

    Big fan of Juri's work. I paused my Patreon. I might have to restart it to get some of his new awesome models!

    Fun build! Amazing what can be achieved without having to sand or paint these days. 😊

    • @punishedprops
      @punishedprops  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Especially since I just don't have enough hours in the day to sand all the things.

    Excellent demo.
    For tape clamping I use 88 electrical tape.
    It comes it 3/4 snd 1 1/2” and is excellent to give a little stretch.
    If it a long length of tape end it with an unstretched length.

    I think the combination of the two technologies ffm & resin is the most ideal for a perfect result

    I love this gun! I made mine! There is functional version out now! Definitively worth supporting him! I love how he designs them in a way, so it can be printed with an fdm😍

I came back to tell you that I met your twin brother and his kids at Target in Woodinville today Bill! He told me a funny story about TSA thinking he was you haha. Anyway, hope you're having a good day!

    The Rattler always looks bigger than expected in the hand. In game when you see it in the inventory I always imagine it as a tiny hand gun like an old ladies boot gun from the wild west, and then it's huge. Totally a me thing. Great work on these though.

    How would you finish such a gun to get rid of the layers? I have a Star Trek movie combat phaser I want to finish but I don't know how I should go about on getting a nice finish.

    • @punishedprops
      @punishedprops  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can spray the whole thing with filler primer and then just do a bunch of sanding till the layer lines are gone.
