I recently left my corporate job and I relate to this so much. I've been watching silent vlogs lately because it helps me gather my thoughts and peace of mind knowing that there are people that reflect the same aspect of peace in silence. Thank you for sharing your kind words in the video and hope you have a good year ahead. Will look forward to the next one. :)
Thank you for sharing. I got burned in the city and I had toxic relationships there. My mind was longing solitude and a way back to the province to slow things down. Just last year, my relationships ended in a crappy way, though I was disappointed, it gave me an opportunity to go home and here I am taking small steps. Months went by and still taking a slower pace is better than millions of opportunities in the city. Good luck on the studies
I’m happy that you are taking small steps to regain your solitude in your life. Life in the city is really hectic and oftentimes we just really need to detach ourselves from it. 🍂 Please continue with your healing journey. At your own pace. Thank you so much. ✨🌟
I was an OFW for 20 years. For 20 years i just worked and saved during those times. I retired 2 years ago and i was 38 years old and im 40 years old right now. I did a lot of reflection and journaling since i retired 2 yeas ago and i consumed 2 notebooks full of journal entries about life, frustration and future goals. I realized that while im working i was overweight because i was overeating to compensate my stress at work. I was 230 pounds when i retired. But now im 195 pounds, 5’8 and i got a lower body fat. I just realized that since im not working and stressed and i can take care of my self. Also i embrace the slow living lifestyle. All i did is exercise, gardening, reading, journaling and spending time with my 73 years old aging father. I’m so happy to see your vlog even do it was made 2 years ago it surely inspires me to pursue slow living more. Because let’s face it majority of the population wouldn’t understand or even get jealous with the early retirement and slowing living lifestyle. But cheers to you for sharing your experience. As of the moment im still embracing the slow living lifestyle and i don’t have an urge to pursue a career. Since i’m still young and I don’t have a bachelors degree i always thought of finishing my bachelors and try to work in a corporate settings. But after 1 year of studying i felt the stress that i felt during my blue collar working days is creeping on me again. So i decided to stop studying and totally embrace the slow living lifestyle but i also put some time traveling internationally every other year since i don’t have enough funds to do it yearly. So that is my early retirement and slow living experience i hope you continue to inspire and spread the positivity thank you have a good life 🙏.
