Ughh I ordered the Swann motion sensor camera waited 2 weeks for it to come in only to find out that it requires a DRV. I’m definitely returning it and getting this instead. Thank you
This camera here does not have a battery. It stays plugged in. They do have truly wireless ones that run on batteries. I’ve done a review of those as well.
Trying to find something like this to suspend from the roof on the inside of my car. I need something I can pan/tilt with enough range that I can leave it parked and still check on my car when I need to.

I'm returning my swann to sams. will not connect to wifi. I just lost 45 minutes trying to set this up and their call center in Phillipines said to return it. :(
locoboof I have one under my porch. It’s been there for 5 weeks now and it works fine. No problem. But it’s in a spot where it can’t get wet. Still gets night time moisture tho.
I managed to set the camera connection with my tablet which works fine but failes to login with my smartphone s4 galaxy and iphone - all i can see is the camera image, it says it has this camera but keeps giving me error for login. I have tried everything but no luck so far
I had the same problem with logging in initially from my Android phone to setup the camera. This was fixed by resetting the camera to factory setting by pressing the reset switch.

Two separate reviews on Amazon say you can only watch live view when your phone is connected to the same network as the camera. Are these people just stupid? Surely they wouldn't leave out an important feature like this. Are you totally sure it can be remotely viewed as long as your phone has internet access?
I’m 100% positive you can view these AWAY from your home as long as the cameras and your smart phone have internet access. These wouldn’t be very useful otherwise
Thanks man. Appreciate the reply. Seems like a decent camera for the price and not being tied to the company to send alerts is great. Might try it with a USB battery/power bank and see how long the power lasts on motion detect only. Maybe it's a viable option to get wire free power without spending the extras dollars.

Go with Arlo or Ring for a battery operated solution.

Can anyone help, it’s failing to record on to the SD card
It should be straight forward. Just pop in the SD card and that’s it.
Maybe exchange the camera?
