I don't see what Whale is reviving in that second combo if being popped by Promethian. Reminder: You are FIRE locked while Promethian is out, so Whale can only revive FIRE Link monsters.
Yes good point! Whale can revive the Raika Link 4 or Link 2. If you keep the Link 2 in the GY you can revive it

The raika engine is so crazy, I learned your traptrix raika , now I want a rikka raika combo.
Its super underrated! Aromage Rikka if you've seen my video on that 🙂 The problem with Rikka Raika is that Rikka locks you into only Plants. Im still testing it tho so I'll figure it out at some point! lol
there’s probably something cool you can do with daybreak’s GY effect!
I usually use Daybreak’s GY effect to shuffle back whatever reptile I want back in deck (usually Night Sword Serpent) and then send the Raika Tank Lizard to grave, so you have a target to revive with the Link 2 earlier on.
Just build one there are a few cards not yet in master duel though
The Zealantis lock is interesting to me, but I think Promethean Princess into Amblowhale doesn’t really add much to the Ogdo Raika endboard that it didn’t already have. Promethean and Stag Sovereign have similar trigger conditions and similar effects, but Promethean locks you into fires and Raikas lock you out of non-R.I.P. types, so they can easily be anti-synergistic
Wait how are you summoning zealantis I thought the lv 2 locks you on summon?
@@pkkiller_apathy4568it shows them summoning Zealantis in the video. You would have to not revive the Link-2 in the turn at all to do this, which I don’t like much, but it’s possible to do.

Yes only tokens dont work and that comes up so keep it in mind
Doesnt numu lock you into reptile after using the effect from the graveyard? Or am i wrong?
You can only summon Reptiles while it's on the field

Why on the first video the monsters banished from zealantlis wasnt summoned?
Because after you summon the Raika Link Monster from Graveyard, you can only summon Plant, Reptile, and Insects for the rest of the turn
@@earthteamjordan that's insane, I never realized that because YOU'RE the one summoning back your opponent's monsters, if your opponent doesn't have Reptile/Insect/Plants out, they don't get brought back under the Ragnaraika restrictions.

is it possible to play the first comb in traptrix raika
If you play Parallel Xyz then you can do it. Myrmeleo + Parallel Xyz + Any Trap = Zealantis. You don't have as much follow up though, because you don't play Serpentine Princess. So you usually end on Sera and maybe 1 Raika Link and some traps but its useful to know

I am little confused on the Zealantis lock. Why can your opponent not summon back their monsters?
The way Zealantis is worded means YOU summon your opponents monsters back, not your opponent. Since you lock yourself with Raika, that means you cant summon back your opponents monsters so you lock them too

traptrix can use zelantis ?
Yes you can do this if you open Myrmelo + Trap + Parallel Exceed, but in Traptrix there are better combos to do, like the ones in my Traptrix Raika video. However it is worth running Zealantis in Traptrix because you always have the option

Good question bro! All the Link Raikas, EXCEPT the Link 2, only lock you after you use their effects. So as long as you never activate the Link 2, then you can do Promethean Princess combos before you even activate a single Raika Link monster.
On the other hand, the Main deck monsters also lock you "for the rest of the turn" so similarly you can do promethean princess combos before you activate any of them. If you open Snake Rain or Nunu + Nauya then you can do full Raika combo without actually activating any Raikas lol

Ruining a deck is fire combo. Not every deck needs to be helmet fire combo.
Reptiles need as many options as possible, because they have no bosses. If you watch my Raika Ogdoadic video we do the Alien lock!

I don't really like this deck for the upcomming format. The deck looks really cool, but it seems weak to Nib, Evenly, Lighting Storm etc. and I belive those will see a lot more play now that Baron is gone.
They all come back from GY which helps a little with Nib. Also you can do full combo without a normal summon, but youre right in that it severely lacks protection
I am working on a small evo pack(3-5 cards) and they can put 2 omni negates for face up cards on the opp turn. That helps with lightningstorm or evenly but it uses the normal summon so it can block the raika line without extenders.
