I will allow the Cat and Wolf Relationship to be the healtiest relationship The thing I love about Wolf and Diane, is that she is the only one that supports Wolf desire to change since day one. She doesn't shame him to want to change (cof cof Snake cof cof), or leaves him in their lowest momment (cof cof SNAKE! cof cof). they are the best relationship since they want to help each other to change and be better, and Diane is the only one that says to Wolf that he can still do good and have his friends, so long they are actually his friends. Because real friends don't cut you off after you deside to change your life. and yeah, Wolf and Snake is toxic... not ALOT, but enough to raise a red flag. Snake shaming Wolf for wanting to turn a new page, and all the group being agaisnt their friend's desire to be better, is extremelly toxic. It was the only moment Marmalade was sort of right; They were holding Wolf back to change, just like he was doing the same to them. and In the books is even worse! Snake is such a toxic individual there is no wonder he- well, better not spoiled it. But is easy to forgive him because he wants to change, but doesn't think he can anyway, I am pleased with this list. and the more we talk about toxic friendships, and notice how the bad guys group is toxic with each other, even thought they love each other, the better
I agree in everything you said. Snake and Wolf's relationship is enough toxic for them to split up. There's even prove of that in the books: Snake can get to objectify Wolf a lot to the point of getting jealous of Ellen because he thinks Wolf likes her more than he likes him. (I hope this is added in a sequel). If the saga is really going to expand then the director should make this more evident. And yeah. Snake has gone through so much trauma and rejection making him the person he is today, needing Wolf to get over them, but that doesn't justify his behavior. That is very harmful for his friends and i hope in future sequels this gets explored more.
That’s a pretty solid point haha. I’m not sure if you’re saying your comment purely for humor, but really do gotta admit it’s a valid criticism. If you ask me, one thing the original l books do amazingly, is showcasing how strong the friendships of the Bad Guys are. There are countless moments in the book where they show camaraderie together and the book series outright establishes (in later books, that take place after where the movie ended), that the reason the Bad Guys all stay good, is because they have such a dedication to caring for each other. There’s lots of examples but I won’t spoil just in case anyone reading this comment doesn’t want to be spoiled on what happens later on in the series after where this movie adapted

I'm surprised that Diane and Tarantula's relationship wasn't on this list, I mean I know they barley had any interactions until the later half of the movie but I would still put them on the list
One easy to miss detail, Diane sucks at improvising throughout the movie, she's used to her plans always working so has a panic attack in the instances she's finally outsmarted (eg. the Dolphin getting stolen, Marmalade trapping her). The 'girl's trip' is the first instance she gets round this and thinks up a badass idea on the spot with Webs. They're shrewdly a really awesome team that I hope the sequel shows a bit more of.

I'm surprised that Diane and Tarantula's relationship wasn't on this list, I mean I know they barley had any interactions until the later half of the movie but I would still put them on the list
Oh I agree with you. Diane and Webs seem like good friends at the end of the film. They should have put them in the list.
One easy to miss detail, Diane sucks at improvising throughout the movie, she's used to her plans always working so has a panic attack in the instances she's finally outsmarted (eg. the Dolphin getting stolen, Marmalade trapping her). The 'girl's trip' is the first instance she gets round this and thinks up a badass idea on the spot with Webs. They're shrewdly a really awesome team that I hope the sequel shows a bit more of.

What about the relationship between Snake and Marmalade? From what I've seen, their relationship is pretty toxic
To be honest, diane foxington from the bad guys is like spamton from deltarune chapter 2 because they both wear glasses and they both make deals and i think i remember the fox girl say now's your chance to redeem yourselves like how spamton says now's your chance to be a big shot. When wolf talked to the fox girl on the stairs it reminded me of the original spamton fight in deltarune and when the fox girl was reavealed to be the crimson paw, it reminded me of spamton neo. Instead of rescuing wolf and the gang, i was expecting the fox girl to fight them instead and have wolf's soul turn yellow and be able to shoot things and wolf and the gang will be in minecarts and the fox girl wants to take wolf's body as a vessal and says he doesn't need his freinds. Wolf and the gang can either beat the fox girl up or break her strings and then they get an item and a shadow crystal and also marmalade is also kinda like queen since they're both selfish. Could someone please do a YTPMV of now's your chance to be a big shot where the fox girl sings now's your chance to be a big shot and also with sounds from the movie as the melody of the music. Since matpat did a ness is sans theory, i could also see him do a diane foxington is spamton theory. So at the end of the day, the fox girl from the bad guys is like a female version of spamton from deltarune.
