He has a title fight in may (11th for you, i believe, as it is held in Australia).
For me he represents peak boxing, which is why i enjoy his fights, and i never fully accepted terms like 'the science of boxing' prior to seeing him.

He lost against Haney but that was a robbery, the Teofimo fight was clean. The thing with Loma is that he went Pro at 25y nearly 26y (old to debut pro in the lower divisions) and he was never a power puncher but a tecnical one, he won his fights damaging his opponents with a ridiculous amount of punchs. Haney was 11 years younger on their fight, and Loma was not on his prime anymore, he even went to war against Russia in 2022. He's been fighting less and less. The top dogs in the division today are all at least 8 years younger than loma and he still is one of then at least.

Lomachenko has lost twice in recent years, to Teofimo Lopez and Devin Haney, but he’s older and undersized for that division and should move down in weight in my opinion. Both of those fighters had massive power advantages and were just as fast because they are much younger. He’s set to fight George Kambosos, who beat Teofimo Lopez just after Lopez beat Lomachenko. Kambosos is a former world champ but should be no match for Lomachenko.
Lomachenko has had a big effect on boxing, many boxers have integrated Loma’s tactics (particularly angles) into their boxing, specifically citing Loma as an influence.
Edit: for what its worth, many people think Loma was robbed in all of his losses respectively, they were close fights (to be clear, I’m not one of those people).

@@WashedOlympian It was a controversial decision, I believe a majority of fans scored it for Loma but the judges saw differently. Either way its no shame, Haney is way larger than Loma and is a technician in his own right.
