This helps out alot, me and my pals want to do a darker sounding cover to help capture the mood of it and i really needed the bass to understand how this is played
Okay so this man has literally taught me how to play bass with just these covers. Ive been playing for about a month and just along to these covers/rewinding at parts to work on them, ice learnt so much and now i play with two other boys on stage as an official band. Thank you.
Haha, I wouldn't even call this a beginner friendly one! I have a beginners playlist here where I think there are plenty you will be able to play and learn new skills with 😊 th-cam.com/play/PLu6zmbOkHQi1QthG3EuiXGQxSoxinpwTP.html
I wanted to give a thanks because i've played bass for more than a year now and i've seen excellent progress but this was one of the first songs I learned, along with more from your channel. Keep up the good work I love your videos!!
@@zoierenee724 heck no, do like I did and jump from this to attempting Les Claypool and Victor Wooten like I did. Took me like 8months to get down just the intro to classical thump 🤭
por fin podre tocar mi canción favorita gracias, eres un grande!! sigue subiendo videos asi me sirvio mucho este video. I will finally be able to play my favorite song, thank you, you are great! keep uploading videos so this video served me a lot.
Thanks Bush :-) The software is called Guitar Pro. It can be a bit complicated to get use to using it, but there are lots of tutorials online and on YT.
I have a question, is that a J-bass or a P-bass? I'm going to buy a bass and start playing it at home and I've heard that the Jazz bass is easier to play since the neck is thinner but I think I've only played the P-bass before (I play bass at school sometimes) and i like the sound of your bass so that's why I'm wondering.
Hi Filippa, this is a P-bass (Fender Player Precision, if you want to look up the exact model). I believe this is a modern style p-bass so it has a thinner neck than a lot of other p-basses, but yes I think j's have thinner necks still, I haven't owned a j-bass but I have an Ibanez SR300 which has a very thin neck. Personally I am fine with either after years of having both, it's just what you get use to, I'd only go specifically for a very thin neck if you have particularly small hands or anything like that. I love the sound of a jazz bass and will probably own one one day, but for me the classic rock sound of a p-bass must have. And obviously if you can the best advice is to go to a music store and try a range and see what feels best for you :-)
@@BackwardsBass Thank you, this helped a lot! I like the sound of P-bass better than J-bass as well but I haven't played a J-bass myslef either so maybe a P-bass is the right way to go since I love a classic rock sound too. I will definetly ask the ones in the store if i can try out both of them though just to be sure, thanks again! :)
No problem :-) and yeah, if you are into rock, indie, metal, etc, it's more than likely that if you look up your fav bassists that they will be playing a P style bass. I'm sure you will love whatever you end up getting :-D
@@BackwardsBass I bought a Daisy Rock elite bass yesterday and I just learned this whole song and it’s so much fun! Thank you for making videos like this and helping me out with choosing my first bass!
Is there any song that looks like this one? I mean, that its easy/medium not too difficult to play, im new at this so i’d like to start with easier songs that aren’t too fast but are also dinamic :)
