I no longer have a vehicle due to hurricane Harvey. However, I had to Uber and the driver had a Nissan Rogue. I was very impressed by how spacious it is. The Rogue will surely be the vehicle I'm leaning towards. Big shout out to Nissan!
First off, where did you get that shirt? I want one. Secondly, your reviews are more informative and the comedy is simple, quirky. Much better than the bloated motor trend reviews now. I miss Carlos Lagos reviews, they were honest and had the right amount of comedy to them. Similar to your style, please keep it up and don't change the format.
Nissan's CVT is definitely NOT worth it. Consider the CR-V. Yes, it's larger, but it doesn't have the HR-V's slowness issues, and it doesn't have Nissan's CVT issues. Watch the KBB review for the CR-V.
There is nothing wrong with Nissan’s CVTs. Yes the first gen cvts they had were not the best but again first gen, their current gen of cvts perform great!
I wish automakers would stop dropping weak powertrains in these small crossovers. It would be nice to see 170+ hp and healthy torque to boot. Guess they don't want to cannibalize sales of their larger, more expensive crossovers.
How can the Rouge Sport be less efficient than the larger and heavier Rouge. Seems like Nissan either rushed this out the door or its engineers and designers really fucked something up
Just shows how stupid you are. Turbo engines are much less reliable and also short lived because of the added stress the turbo puts on internal components.
I bought a rogue sport new. My biggest compliant was the whiny transmission. Then the check engine light started coming on but would go back off sooner or later. The last straw was when the dealer told me could be a lot of things. They couldn't have cared less. Yeah it was traded on a new Honda
I dunno anymore 'bout having an SUV now. We rented an Altima for our vacation back in June and thoroughly liked the car. We'll do some more comparative shopping of the mid-sized cars before we make a decision. What's funny is Enterprise classified their mid-sized renter-mobiles as full-sized cars, I don't get it!
I owned the current altima and it was a good car. I then turned it in for the new Mazda 6 and I'm just in LOVE with it. Although, I liked the altima the 6 just drives better and is slightly quicker (or feels that way atleast)
It's just dawned on me that you guys haven't reviewed the classic Range Rover. Seems odd, given how popular the thing is. And if it seems like it's too late (since it came out in 2013) you could review the 2017 Autobiography SV Dynamic. You guys make great video reviews, would be nice to get your take on Land Rover's flagship.
Nissan wins for this one....smart planning smart follow up to the line up without adding an additional all new small car platform at least until 2019... Great job...great choice...and it looks good to buy....
Yeah, that's a terrible power to weight ratio. My awd CRV has way more room, power, and better mpgs, yet the same weight as this smaller rogue sport. If it's gonna be smaller and "sportier" it should be lighter, nimble, and more efficient. Cheap engineering...
There are rumors that Nissan wants to sell the even smaller Kicks (smaller than the ones mentioned, but larger than the Juke on a version of the Juke / Micra's V platform, already sold in PRC and some other markets) BELOW the Rogue Sport / Qashqai in USDM and replacing the Juke in Nissan's crossover lineup. Wonder what kind of engine would it wind up with... (maybe the Sentra's 130bhp NA-1.8L)
Nissan North-America took forever to bring this car here, and now there is already a refreshed Qashqai available else where in the world, by the time we see that this Generation would have already been replaced.
First they changed the names. Now the smaller, slower one is thirstier. I don't know what Nissan strategy is, but is shady. And I don't know how reliable they are in other parts of the world, but here in Colombia, they are starting to lose the good reputation they had with reliability. A lot of people complain about Nissan's here
Why have Nissan in the US chosen the name Rogue? It's such a silly name. Why not keep the name X-Trail for the 7 seat and Qashqai for this one like the Euro ones. It's 2 different segments.
Stick your damn turbo. Just something else to go wrong. Besides they cook your engine oil and the last thing your engine needs is more heat in it's oil. Nope I'll pass.
Not here... A NA-2.0L vs. the NA-2.5L the USDM Rogue / X-Trail. The USDM Toyota CH-R also has a similarly outputted NA-2.0L (other markets get a T-1.2L, now that's small...).
Danny Jurenic I agree with you. Their cars aren't that nice to look at (just look at the juke). The maxima and the Murano look good! Theyre getting there though. The Nismo Sentra looks pretty good and even though the juke is a bug eyed weirdo looking thing... I bought one, Got myself the Nismo RS trim and holy shit it goes and with the Nismo body kit on it, it looks much better imo.
I watch these and I am not even interested in buying cars, I just think these guys are hilarious
Corbyn Trumbley think you're gay for them
I no longer have a vehicle due to hurricane Harvey. However, I had to Uber and the driver had a Nissan Rogue. I was very impressed by how spacious it is. The Rogue will surely be the vehicle I'm leaning towards. Big shout out to Nissan!
Yayy hey did you get one.
The steering wheel looks really nice
It's not less efficient it depends how you drive the rogue sport
Nissan should offer the Juke Nismo RS's engine in this. Now that would be sporty.
I have this. My first SUV. The engine is underwhelming, but it’s so comfortable. Can’t wait to take a road trip.
That needs the turbo engine out of the juke and Sentra turbo
Nissan has three subcompact SUV's : The Kicks, Juke and Rogue Sport. That's interesting.
So the Rogue is the X-Trail, and the Rogue Sport is the Qashqai, right?
Henry Kincaid in Australia you ask? Yes!
James Bong Puttar I was actually talking about Europe, I didn't know Aus had the X Trail and Qashqai.
Yep, but Canada has Rogue and Qashqai. Strange.
Henry Kincaid So does Southeast Asia
Yeap! That is how they are called in Europe and here in South America (at least here in Colombia)
Rouge sport is good small suv for urban youth.

I miss Carlos Lagos reviews, they were honest and had the right amount of comedy to them. Similar to your style, please keep it up and don't change the format.
WHY is this car less efficient than the larger and stronger Rogue???
.... WHY?
sedrick Campbell The Rogue is allot less efficient than what mpg numbers suggest
sedrick campbell I know right? The fuck nissan?
probably due to the smaller 2.0L having to rev higher than 2.5L to pull similar weight.
Sungmin Kim Ok that makes sense. Having to labor harder could explain it.
Probably because the smaller engine has to work harder to move the weight
Great timing! I was just looking at one of these.
Jamel Brown just get the HRV
Matthew Palanca hrv is slow af
Thanks for the info.
Nissan's CVT is definitely NOT worth it.

That car is sold in Europe and Latin America since quite a bit time, way before it was launched in US. It is sold under the model name Qashqai.
We know but we like our name for it better your name for it would not go over well here, sounds stupid.
We know wish people would quit telling us that.
I wish automakers would stop dropping weak powertrains in these small crossovers.
It would be nice to see 170+ hp and healthy torque to boot. Guess they don't want to cannibalize sales of their larger, more expensive crossovers.

Your videos are so helpful!
Okay Micah, what up with the recurring Kind bar?
I just love these reviews.
What it needs is a 1.6 160hp turbocharged engine which is available elsewhere.
Yeah get a turbo just something else to go wrong. You people piss me off.
Just shows how stupid you are. Turbo engines are much less reliable and also short lived because of the added stress the turbo puts on internal components.
stick your damn turbo. Just something else to go wrong. Damn young people and that bug up their as to have a turbo.
I bought a rogue sport new. My biggest compliant was the whiny transmission. Then the check engine light started coming on but would go back off sooner or later. The last straw was when the dealer told me could be a lot of things. They couldn't have cared less. Yeah it was traded on a new Honda

Donald Hollums I said the same thing lol. I don't get it
Donald Hollums I think the Altima is a great car! Two people in my family have one
Zach N I rented a 2016 Nissan Altima and I wasn't impressed. I'd take a Camry or Jetta any day.
I owned the current altima and it was a good car. I then turned it in for the new Mazda 6 and I'm just in LOVE with it. Although, I liked the altima the 6 just drives better and is slightly quicker (or feels that way atleast)
Alex Soto I like the Passat also it's larger than the Jetta for our needs.
It's just dawned on me that you guys haven't reviewed the classic Range Rover. Seems odd, given how popular the thing is. Eh it's crossover.....
You know it’s just a qashqai
for desperate housewives :))
when I test drive 2017 Rogue open or close the windows, the door was shaking。。。
Idk why nissan called this rogue sport in usa... its european qashqai y not call it the same here
OutOfThisWorldTV they said americans cant pronounce it
XboxCarsForza lol I can
@@ultratech6671 We are glad it is not called that here. Sounds so damn stupid.
I'm guessing the Nissan Rogue Sport will eventually fade out the Juke as the sub compact CUV.
Over 3,300.00 pounds with 140 hp engine and no manual available, like Honda HRV or Mazda C 3. Did I miss something here??
Yeah, that's a terrible power to weight ratio. My awd CRV has way more room, power, and better mpgs, yet the same weight as this smaller rogue sport. If it's gonna be smaller and "sportier" it should be lighter, nimble, and more efficient. Cheap engineering...
Doesn't the SV(Qashqai) version comes with a moonroof?
Tom N. it's a package
Zach N it comes standard with the sv in Canada
3000000 sales in the world + 1 in US
I feel like every review is secretly an Ad for water lol
does it mean that they'll give up the juke?
noreworks hopefully they do its the ugliest car ever
Yeah, I've already been hearing that the juke is on its way out.
Can you do a review on Jeep Grand Cherokee
Can you get a manual with this?
In Canada.
The rogue sport makes no sense to me
Nissan North-America took forever to bring this car here, and now there is already a refreshed Qashqai available else where in the world, by the time we see that this Generation would have already been replaced.
Umm, you can adjust the rear seat to lean father back!
It is actually called Nissan Qashqai
Not here we do not care what you call it.
It’s very nicely optioned.
How does this weigh less than a Audi R8 and a Porsche 911 and the same as a 488 without using any exotic materials
Tiny engine and transmission, plus i dont think that the overall structure is as strong as those high end cars.
It is fascinating though.
It's either this or the honda hrv
Get the HRV or Crosstrek. They're more refined.
First they changed the names. Now the smaller, slower one is thirstier. I don't know what Nissan strategy is, but is shady. And I don't know how reliable they are in other parts of the world, but here in Colombia, they are starting to lose the good reputation they had with reliability. We like it. X trail sounds damn stupid.
Rogue Sport vs Juke?
ThatOneKidWhoCanDraw rogue sport better
ThatOneKidWhoCanDraw juke, hands down
Review the 2017 Nissan Rogue
Those lord of the rings references had me gagging lol
I'd rather have a Crosstrek.
The quality of the paint at 2:48 is pretty bad
Benjamin Francis Yeah it's a test model
The 141 HP is a joke. I drove one and its slower than molasses going uphill in the winter time.
I like it!
That's not the 'Rogue Sport'. The original name of this SUV is 'Qashqai'.
vicente molina maureira This America
We know and we do not give a damn what you call it.
You can get this car in Europe with a 3rd row. The size of the 3rd row seats is harrowingly poor.
This is the smaller version and it is not available in this vehicle. You must buy the larger version to have third seat.
Is that an underpowered grocery getter with a flat bottom steering wheel??
Just buy the regular rogue.
Here in the UK It's called the Qashqai
As told to us by about a million other people. We do not give a damn.
I'm sorry. A base Altima for 2016 and 2017 has a far more powerful horse engine.
The target audience of this vehicle are families. Not people who want to drive fast. Get a base Altima then if you require a more powerful engine(
We got this like 2 weeks ago
this car would be great with the 2.5
I don't see any in Nigeria
Can you please review the 2018 Subaru Crosstrek?
Lame
Micah!!!! That shirt! Haha ❤️
That needs the turbo from the Sentra turbo
Stick your damn turbo. Just something else to go wrong. Besides they cook your engine oil and the last thing your engine needs is more heat in it's oil. Nope I'll pass.
This is a family car why is anvrybody like this has less power
nothing wrong with the engine or power little boys on here trash talking go get a job
I'll take this over a HR-V, CH-R, CX-3, and Trax any day.
cx-3 is better
Just slapping sport on anything
Nissan Kumquat
No. This would compete with the CX5 and Rav4 etc. Not the CX3. At least in Europe, the Qashqai, which is what this is, does. Or what?
SDav21 no the Regular Rogue we have here is my comparable to those.
So... basically the Rogue Sport is the deformed version of the bigger Rogue?
Da 312 yes sir
It's just a Nissan Qashqai
So it's what the Sentra is to the Altima
Nissan Qashqai in Europe
renault engine yak
What? no, it is all Nissan. And the 2017 Sport is actually built in Japan.
maybe the rogue sport has a 1.8l engine
Not here... A NA-2.0L vs. the NA-2.5L the USDM Rogue / X-Trail. The USDM Toyota CH-R also has a similarly outputted NA-2.0L (other markets get a T-1.2L, now that's small...).
"... long torso ..." #ShortLegs ;^)
Meh, I'll take the Toyota CHR thanks.
HodsBroo But no leather
Trash! Get the Raptor instead... pun intended... 😆
Hm
Nice Nissan Qashqai (that´s the name in Europe, Asia and even some South America countries)
I rather walk
i like the nissan ronda
This is Nissan Qashqai! Don't Rogue
it's not sporty LOL
Nissan makes some ugly cars (Except the new maxima)
Danny Jurenic I agree with you. Their cars aren't that nice to look at (just look at the juke). The maxima and the Murano look good! Theyre getting there though. The Nismo Sentra looks pretty good and even though the juke is a bug eyed weirdo looking thing... I bought one, Got myself the Nismo RS trim and holy shit it goes and with the Nismo body kit on it, it looks much better imo.
littlesimpson2 I agree! I thought the juke was a joke.. then I drove one. They're so fun! XD! I went with a 16 Maxima SV, I wanted something bigger.
Isnt it heavily based on a garbage ass Renault?
Trash , get the chevy
deairreo hill Chevy is crap
The Chevy happens to be trash
