He doesn't just cover a song but makes it his own. No sad love songs for Dan. He created a powerful anthem of how life does really go on. His vocals are exceptional. Loved your reaction. Thanks so much and I look forward to the next one.
Dan and Garrett make this song into a celebration. Someone once said "don't be sad it ended, be happy it happened,." That's what I get from this rendition of the song. That joy that we loved and that there is something beyond us and that's where you are now.
An absolutely phenomenal performance by Dan and Garrett!❤❤So powerful and full of energy. Dan is just amazing and you'd really be even more surprised to see how versatile he is, if you go down the rabbit hole. Hoping for more Dan reactions, thankyou😃
Dan always delivers! Some said if Dan was singing the Titanic wouldn’t have gone down! Love it!! It’s really fun to watch you enjoying the master of all music. You’re great!
Dan is absolutely phenomenal. He said that when he listens to a song, he hears the metal version in his head. Check out his duet with Violet Orlandi on Seal's "Kiss From a Rose" for a perfect example. He does fabulous covers of Nightwish songs. Dan has a chameleon voice and will surprise you with his vocal skills. He is a beast. I'm subbing and will see you in your next DV reaction. He's going to blow you away!
Yes, many 80s hard rock songs talk about love or the pain of lost love, as paradoxical as it may seem! WhiteSnake, Def Leppard, Scorpions are some examples. Guys, thank you very much for the reaction. Dan is indescribable. Go 1 million!
Love you guys together! Great reaction! And the best comment yet - "if the Titanic was a jet ski." Dan makes everything his own! I left suggestions on the "Amazing Grace" reaction. More Dan!
This song is an absolute blast. The next one follows with o holy night. But basically every single song, whether it's a cover or his own songs, is fantastic, epic, sensational... If you want a little opera, then Nessun Dorma, if you want a musical experience, then Phantom of the Opera -The Music of the Night. Metal then the Manowar cover songs, Helloween etc. ❤️🤘
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥pure power! Dan and Garett gave this classic a completely new life! Welcome to the Dan Vasc rabbit hole, enjoy the journey! New sub here, hope for more of the amazing Dan Vasc.
❤ gotta' love this man.... he makes it his every time... did not care for the original but love this.... ❤ Loved y'alls reactions... lol lol Thank you!!!!
Looking forward to “Oh Holy Night”. I really enjoyed the back-and-forth between you two. So glad you enjoyed this song. Dan really is amazing and yes, if Dan had been there instead of Jack, Rose would have made plenty of room on that door for Dan🤣 Subscribed.
LOL, the ice berg would have melted or Jack may have kicked the girl of the freaking door 😊 Yes please, O Holy night… Dawn of Victory ( with Fabio Leone) I’ll make a man out of you and Nessun Dorma are good ones to follow up with
DAN VASC ! Artista completo canta l muitoooooooooooooooooo sou fã é inscrita no canal dele....... Um artista é um cara sensacional . Vozeirão performances guitarristas bateria . Ele é perfeito. Obrigada por reagir com se amigo. A música ficou magnífica linda !!!!!!!❤🎉❤🎉❤
Great reaction. For more reactions to Dan, I would suggest "Burn Butcher Burn," "I'll Make a Man Out of You" from Disney's 1998 animated film Mulan, "Bring me to Life," and for a change of pace, maybe his opera cover of "Nessun Dorma" or his two covers from the stage play Phantom of the Opera, the song of the same title "Phantom of the Opera" and also "Music of the Night" Seriously though, you can't go wrong with any Dan Vasc song. He could sing the phone book and it would still be life changing.
Dan turned this somber, tragic song of loss, into a joyful celebration of real love known and shared ... forever held in his heart despite continuing life without the other. Thanks for the fun reaction. 😊
Definitely Dawn of Victory and Burn Butcher Burn are worth listening to. Also I'll Make a Man Out Of You (Disney's Mulan). Thanks for a great reaction!
Thank you for your insightful analysis of this great cover by Dan and his guitarist Garrett. They rocked the song and turned the saddest song in the world into a metal anthem. I didn't like the movie Titanic myself, but this cover wow...made my day.❤ I had fun watching them...
If the Titanic was a jet ski 😂😂😂 That was a top comment!! Dan said he was going to mDe the saddest song in the world into a power metal battle anthem - and that's exactly what he did. I agree, that if you feel the music is disconnected to the lyrics, it's because you're thinking of the song in the movie - which is a sad song about love lost. Dan has made that song into a song celebrating the power and joy of love lived.
I'll just say that I'd FAR rather have someone singing like THIS about how his heart will keep on loving, were I to know I'd be "going on," myself. I know it's not easy to lose someone, in any situation. But it's far better to remember the person who's gone on, with love and JOY, KNOWING that the person isn't lost into nothingness...that the heart truly does GO ON! When my mom passed away in 2014, she had requested for YEARS, that we celebrate her death in pretty much this same manner. She asked that we have a PICNIC and ask all her friends and the rest of the family to come and CELEBRATE the life she had had on Earth, because, after all, she was already feeling and knowing that "this world was no longer her home." She just wanted to go and be with her Lord and Savior, and was looking forward to having us celebrate WITH her. So we did! Dan, too, actually BELIEVES the same thing. Why would he NOT change this song to reflect that belief? For one thing, if you haven't already seen it, you should react to his Elvis cover, "An American Trilogy," which he sang and posted on TH-cam, just five days after his father had passed away from cancer. Elvis was his father's favorite singer, and the Trilogy was his favorite Elvis song. Dan had a hard time getting through it, but he DID, and in wonderful, powerful form, with messages of love and tribute to his father on the screen, at the beginning and the end of the video. It's wonderful. I hope you'll react to it.
Today's Task: Take an old weepy love song that is way past it's sell by date and without changing a word make it into a power anthem... enter Dan and Garrett.. phenomenal result... the original suited the film 28 years ago. This triumphant new anthem suits the NOW.. Thanks for reacting... I'm in my 70's and growing old disgracefully... once a metal head always a metal head🤘💯
Celine makes women cry, Dan makes Men Rock, ( we woman were Rocking too, lol) Try his Cover of the Viking's song, My Mother told me, from the series, That one will make you want to grab a Sword and follow Dan to Vallhalla!
Also, there's "Dawn of Victory," sung in Dan's new (at the time) studio, the FEARLESS band (Dan's brother and their two childhood friends, are the band), with FABIO LIONE right there in the studio with them, singing with Dan, who learned a LOT from listening to Fabio. What a wonderful time they all had!
