I don't have a fat tire Ebike although I do have an ebike. However, prior to having a motorcycle accident I had a Surly Puglsey MTB. I used it for general all around riding, not mountain biking. I've got to say I LOVED riding that bike even though it was harder than pedalling a regular bike. There's something about riding a fat tired bike that I find so satisfying and enjoyable. Due to my leg injuries I have to sell it. I miss riding it!
I rode a Fat tire bike to work for over 7 years. And anywhere else I wanted to. And it was not an Electric bike. You pedal up and down hills. I just retired last year and I still ride it. It didn't kill me. I'm 70 now.
If you don't ride on the beach or in winter hybrid is the choice ! You can get more speed and more milage if your biking always on the road or bike path ..
Earlier today I watched the video on Fat Tire eBikes and enjoyed hearing your thoughts. I'm a window cleaner and coincidentally, I went to my next customer (Conte's Bike Shop) and was pleased to see a customer bring out a Fat Tire eBike for a test ride. Don't know if it was the brand you tested, but I stopped him to get his opinion and he generally liked it, but thought it was too small for him. He was a couple inches taller than me, so maybe 6' 3". Other than that, he really liked it.
How many reviews do you have for non-fat tire E-bikes? My wife and I are older and want E-bikes for local transport and exercise. We will not be doing much, if any, off road riding and don't really see the need for fat tire bikes. I have not seen many reviews here for street type bikes.
Wow… efficiency doesn’t matter?!? Try telling Tesla that! The whole reason I ride a road e-bike is efficiency and _SPEED!_ Yep, I had to convert it myself, because … dang, you’re right; nobody cares about efficiency and there are just very few efficient road e-bikes available. I know we’re trying to get more people into (more) sustainable transportation, and most people _don’t_ care about efficiency, but perpetuating that is not doing me any favors… (edit: and it’s all about me, me, me!)

Consider full suspension if you have a rougher ride - Otherwise , They Rock !

What the brand and model of the bike 0:41?
What is wrong with often? Why does it need times added to it?
