The thing i love about da vinci resolve is that you can motion track and make 3d text in the same program and that u dont need after effects to do that
You should turn on cache user transitions and effects in settings so playback is smooth. You can also use the optimise media function which helps also. Just change a few settings and it's good.
Lost mei Skill its actually good if u have a pc that can handle it and its very easy to get use to but is not like vegas pro or premiere pro but hitfilm can be very confusing if u want to get into really advanced editing
