    you spoke the ground reality. True that anyone who has touched 40s would want to return to their roots. Psychology changes. Nostalgia develops..But cannot return for several reasons several issues. Adoptability of kids. Confusion due to downsides of each country. Each one of us can relate to the irritation that we get when we see chaos with queues, traffic, following rules in India.

    I also experienced the same things while I was in Australia, wanted to come back to India but due to quality of life, i was again wanted to stay in AUS. Anyway, i am back now, it's not my decision my company brought me back.
    But after coming, definitely i am missing the quality of life at the same time my kids are enjoying with their new friends, i do not have that disturbance from Aussies saying don't shout while my kids are playing, i have better social life. I wish India should also advance in terms of quality of life than we do not need to go anywhere!!

    Another perspective: I moved to Germany as a fresh graduate, and the early 20s are a time when one begins to establish individuality. As a student, everything was about learning and adapting-whether it was adjusting to the culture, food, language, or lifestyle. Because of this, many people like me (10+ years in Germany) find little/no difficulty with the social norms around here and choose to stay longer.
    For example, when we moved into a new flat, we left chocolates and a note in the hallway to let our neighbors know about the noise and disruptions. Not only did no one complain, but some even offered to help us with the move.
    India, too, has made significant progress in recent years, particularly in the service sector, surpassing Germany in many ways. I believe that both countries and their people have much to learn and adapt from each other and there's nothing wrong with considering a return home!😊

    You can't have cake and eat it too. We need to adopt local conditions. Of course in India we look at foreigners with awe don't except the same from West . Imagine to tolerate noice pollution for the last couple of days blaring loud music on account of Ganesh chaturthi from all corners. Observe how illegal colonies/ constructions were allowed to sprout for decades in Hyderabad and now being demolished . India is good for those who are rich and those who are ready to bribe to get services. It's a catch 22 situation for those who migrated for better future . There is a price for everything.

    Now you are financially well settled. In next phase of life, important thing is your health , mental peace& education.
    You will get better health, mental peace in your hometown in India, knowing India has developed a lot. I’m sure you will have good living conditions there..
    For kids education, many returning NRIs are doing home schooling in India. It’s new trend here & gains lot of momentum in future. One evident fact is IITs are prioritising home schoolers during their admission based on parent’s qualifications, grown up circumstances & bit of academic knowledge.
    Future will say good bye to current examination systems in India.
    Good luck 😊

    @pesala8524 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

    Almost everything in this video feels subjective, and I don't see much relevance for the majority of Indians living abroad, actually people return to India after spending several years abroad and having enough earnings . Can you really imagine anyone going back to India after just 2 or 3 years of working abroad? Another point worth mentioning is that expecting Germans to understand and adapt to our culture when we move here seems unreasonable, Why should they? When we come to Germany, it's important that we understand and respect their culture and adapt to their ways, not the other way around, There are certain days where making noise is permitted and tolerated, and yes we should also learn German.
    People who are moving abroad now are not making the wrong decision. It's not just about the money always; it's also about the quality of life, the experience of exploring different parts of the world, and the opportunity to learn many new things. When we've had enough of these experiences and saved enough money, then we can make the decision to return back to india regardless of the challenges just as how we faced struggles when we initially moved to Germany, every opportunity has its pros and cons.And if everything were better in India than here, it would be easy to return, but the reality is quite the opposite.
    PS: Things are always gonna change,, we have to deal with it
    This is my understanding and my gut opinion, don;t get me wrong :D

    • @rams9382
      @rams9382 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      This ^^ not sure other countries understand our culture, we are in their country. I dont get why should noise even be tolerated. It's already such a mess in India with so much of noise, pollution and population. Why are we even encouraging it?
      Have these guys seen public sanitary, toilets, food preparation, mosquitos etc in India? What are all these NRIs going back to India trying to prove, they are wearing rose glasses. It's seriously bad in India, 99% of the people are leaving India, data proves it not the other way round.
      The heat, infrastructure, ease of doing things etc is such a mess in that country. What are they even talking about opportunities? tell me how many opportunities are there in India for the amount of population there? Joke these guys project how great a country India has become. Look at the current flood situation in AP and Telangana. No disaster recover process or procedure in place, how many people are suffering from all problems in that country.

    "I agree with you. I have been living in Germany for a year now, and both my wife and I are working, while my child is studying in the 8th grade. I always feel like this is not our country, and I don't understand why I’m still here. Is it just to enjoy the nature and lifestyle? I feel we can experience that by staying in a remote place near Hyderabad as well. But still, I don’t fully understand why I am here. Please share your thoughts."

    Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I am in the same boat. But luckily, our baby is just 18 months old and by next year I will be eligible for German Citizenship. So, my plan is to move out from Germany after getting the passport. As mentioned in the video, please share info regarding how easily one can work in the USA after getting the German citizenship.
    Further, I am also waiting for your new house tour and the whole buying process. Pros and Cons of owning a house/apartment in Germany. Please keep posting videos.

    We were there only for one year, and realised kid school is going to be bad and returned back to Hyderabad.
    As you mentioned language barrier is very very bad, even major organisation like income-tax dept schools admins can't even talk english.

    Hi Guys, totally understand your situation...we as a family moved out after staying in Germany for 20 years during Covid. We have assests still in Germany and have passports. We felt suffocation due to weather and saturation in the professsional life..also due to all the reasons you have mentioned. We took a brave decision to satisfy both family and professional needs.

    :-What you said is correct. Now India has changed a lot in every field. As it is densely populated, some problems are there but that will not be a hurdle to our educated life.
