Awesome content as usual. As soon as I saw patchouli, carlisle immediately came to mind.
Yesss, these are the videos we crave. I'd love to see a video devoted to common base notes. Most of us can approximate what many top notes smell like (mostly citrus), but it's harder to know what notes like oakmoss, sandalwood, amber, ambroxin, and ambergris are supposed to connote in terms of warmth or emotional response.
Also, a video of underrated slept-on notes could be fun. Notes like plum, juniper, jasmine.
I cannot wait to start wearing JPG LMLP again. The dry down is delicious.
Finally a unique style of fragrance content!
I would definitely like tosee the same video idea with different fragrances, maybe your personal favourites plus a few honorable mentions? :)

The best Iris fragrance---and I do own both the ones you mentioned, among others---is Florentine Iris (edp) by Ermenegildo Zegna. Hands down. Florentine is to iris what Mysore is to sandalwood. You hear it and instantly know you have the best of the best. And it's unbelievably versatile.
My best oud---altho some will validly argue The Night by Frederick Malle---is Cartier's Oud & Oud. PHENOMENAL.
Tobacco: Fumurie turque by Serge Lutens. Nothing I've smelled comes close.
Lavender: This will fluctuate, but: Milano Cento Him (edt)
Patchouli: Overture Man by Amouage. Only in that it's the best scent on earth and happens to have patchouli in it. But one that highlights the note of patchouli, would have to be: Pogostemon by Fiele Fragrances.
I like this theme, but think this is a theme that's very hard and needs a LOT of time and thought before committing to, even before making the video.

Great list. Arguably, Iris is best represented by Dior Homme (original) and cardamom is probably done more boldly in La Nuit de L'homme. But I like the list anyway :)

Hi , great content , I am not sure which note is my most favorite, I am trying to explore and enjoy them all. But I am curious about your love in Patchouli , ...I wanted to try it more so I got Reminisce Patchouli, and dear me ...it s really something too challenging for me but I think it may be suitable for funerals , I actually Had Armaf Club de Nuit intense Woman( which is supposedly be a clone of Noir De. Noir by TF and also includes Patchouli) on one funeral and I actually quite liked it there .
Could you give your opinion on D by Diesel, bought it recently with no expectations and find it amazing would love to hear your opinion, great video btw

Hi Omar,great content have you tried Niche4alls version of oud wood? For a cheap clone I found it fantastic and I've had a lot of compliments.Theres a lot of hate for them on fragantica but they have some fantastic scents. Cardamom vanilla is awesome too

For lavender I would of chosen Ysl y Le Parfum that thing is just straight up an amazing scent. Definitely a compliment beast for sure and more of a night time wear but is extremely versatile. This whole list is great

Make part II: vetiver, coffee, vanilla, citrus, neroli, amber
I’ve not yet smelled Naxos or Le Male Le Parfum, but they’re on my list of samples to buy. Excited to try them. I have and love Carlisle, however. To my nose, Carlisle smells like a rich apple tobacco with a soothing and almost minty eucalyptus (which in actuality there is no tobacco or eucalyptus, but it is probably the Davana note I found listed on the PDM website mixing with the Apple and sweet resinous notes). Very mysterious and enigmatic, yet pleasing and addictive. An all time favorite.
As for Zaharoff, I prefer Signature Royale X over the original because of the refreshingly sharp and juicy citrus with sexy musk.
You definitely want to get your nose on Naxos, I found Le Parfum okayyyy but nothing too exciting, but Naxos is really one of the best fragrances imo, and you can usually find good deals on it if you search enough!
I really like le male's drydown..after 5 hours its really amazing..
LNDL is king Cardamom. That frag made cardamom one of my favorite notes

Naxos is excellent, but I prefer Herod & Tobacco Oud more.
The original Le Male is most definitely present in Le Male Le Parfum, that reviewer is silly.
I really love the stuff. I undersprayed first time around and just liked it. Then I sprayed myself with a full dose and LOVED it. Scent, sillage and longevity are all very good. (not room clearing like ultra male, but strong and better smelling)
Good enough that even when discounters were out I went and paid full msrp for it without thinking twice.

OUD from ATH is the best Oud fragrance in my opinion.
I have both Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male Le Parfum and YSL La Nuit De L'homme. To me, YSL La Nuit De L'homme is the champion when compared for its well blended cardamom note.

Prada L’homme Intense is one of if not my favourite fragrance of all time. Sadly it doesn’t work on my skin type. fragratinca rates this to be moderate - strong while I’m struggling smelling it on my own skin
Same goes to the longevity. I BARELY get 1 decent hour… so unfair since it matches my clothing style and my personality… If there’s anything I can do to change the fact that it doesn’t work on me, please let me know since I am currently stuck with a 100ml bottle which is “useless” in my scenario…
Spraying it on clothes would be an option, but fragrances don’t get the sillage like when sprayed on the skin…
I suffer with this for ADG Profondo
For Tobacco scents I would rather wear Jazz Club or even the cheap Mandarina Duck black… n 1 Million Privé on Christmas.

Iff you like naxos but wish it dident smell so femenin try the original mugler pure havann.. It smells the same but a smidget less femenin
I believe Naxos leans masculine anyway, plus PH is discontinued
