@@patboy24 Not as good as winter, the spiciness of it is definitely best suited to the colder months but it will still be decent in summer. My go to for summer is the green Valentino though, you definitely want to go citrus for summer

I really appreciate you talking about the jpg le beau line. Me personally, I think Le beau le Parfum is the best summer perfum while I think le beau edt is the best all year around fragrance since it lasts more than 10 hours on my skin. I get many compliments about it and I absolutely love it

Strange thay the Le Beau series is usually glanced over in every review series. Was at Cancun airport a few weeks back and they had JPG's entire line. Of them all, Le Beau Le Parfum was the most unique, fresh, and just plain yummy of the entire collection. Havent seen it again since then but it's been at the top of my list since then.

I absolutely LOVE Le Beau Le Parfum. I think it smells amazing and it’s become one of my favorites. It’s fresh but heavy, it’s fruity but dark, it’s creamy and powdery. I love this stuff

This is a quality video - must admit that first!
Now, discussing JPG we mustn't forget that there was room for creativity, and launching bold fragrances for that house.
However, the market did not want difficult fragrances like Kokorico or Fleur du Male, so they kept producing what was selling the most. Even fairly nose-friendly releases like Le Male Terrible, Le Beau Male, Le Male Eau Fraiche, or Le Male Essence de Parfum weren't profitable enough to stay in the portfolio for longer which is a shame.
@School of Scents joined the game and can see stuff from the business perspective now, so I don't think there is room for anything new that doesn't smell like fragrances we've seen on the market since the 80s, and that were selling great.
At the end of the day, businesses want to make more ££, not necessarily revolutionize the industry as some big names have had nearly 2 or 3 decades ago.

I kinda blind bought le male le parfum but damn I’m in love with it now - the fragrance seems to project more when it’s cooler and at night it seems than when it is hot 😂

Scandal EDT has got me many unsolicited compliments from work colleagues and other people. I've had Scandal still being able to smell on me after 10 hours on skin and too many hours on my clothes. Fresh out the shower and its still on my skin. I do agree its a safe fragrance who wants to please people. Le Male Le Parfum is my favourite in the line - around 10 hours on my skin.

Definitely not azzaro cuz they have wanted snd that’s the only one worth mentioning. Let’s do something on a budget again. I’d say do a designer one again of your choice that you believe is worth because they have a lot of distinctive frags such as armani, ysl or paco. Lol

I have both le male edt and edp (the black one) and in my opinion I suggest people to buy the EDP because it lasts longer and the Iris is very good, it makes the fragrance more “complete”. I don’t hate the edt but I think it’s not worthed anymore. Still it’s only my opinion

Jean Paul gaultier le male le parfum I have to say quite possibly is best spray I have found for my sprays arsenal. It's an absolute powerhouse smells so damn good! I have never felt so confident in a spray 🥺😍

@@kasperkingen5924 It’s fresh + sweet = mass appealing, to my nose I get a lot of that coconut note but it’s blended well so it doesn’t come feminine at all. Clean, fruity, sweet, aromatic, good for all seasons for sure. check fragrantica for more info tho I haven’t worn this yet but definitely on my list

These are all the fragrances that still exist from the brand, superman has been discontinued for a long time.
The best ever jpg for me is le male essence de perfume very2 masculine with lavender tonka n leathery but sad discontinued . The second best is le male le parfum with dna le male edt but more to mature

I think the Scandal EdP smells like manuka honey and the EdT doesn't. I even believe that this is it's essence and strength and value. I tested around 20-30 different honeys years ago, so it might match with other honey sorts too, but I guess manuka honey is "it".
And I like that. Manuka honey is a more expensive honey with some medicine like abilities, as far as I know. So it probably somewhat goes along with MFK 540 in this regard.
I dont want to admit it but i really really enjoy and like the smells of le male le parfum. Its something that my dad uses daily. Not that i hate my dad, its just i dont want to smell like… a dad yet 😂

Love the original. Got talked into buying the newer black bottle. I like it too but it doesn't last very long on the skin.

I really don't know about the Scandal Le Parfum. I tried both Stronger With You Intensely and Scandal Le Parfum, and surprisingly the Scandal LP performed better (by far than SWY Intensely, both in terms of longevity and projection). 🤨 And SWY Intensely is advised as a potent room-filling fragrance.
I don't know why the whole internet decline on Scandal. It is an awesome fragrance. Don't get fooled by fragrance reviewers!

OG Scandal EDT will always please anyone in it's path. 2 sprays ; not 4 or 6 (these are the ones who state "too powdery" / "like candy" / " for teens" etc.) It's my April to September and gotten more compliments than "Invictus" , "ADG Profundo" and "Hermès Eau Givrée EDP" . Also it's well made for professional as well as social settings. "Le Beau EDT" is very nice as well.
I have scandal edt, in the shop I smelt the caramel and loved it, but now I have it it smells like it’s £15. I can’t believe it was £50. I haven’t tried it on clothes really but it just seems like a very generic frag with prettt bad projection for me

Can you do house Mauboussin please? It will be a cheap video to do, they're cheapies and the range isn't huge. Leave out the 50ml edt, it's not worth tracking down. It's the same fragrance as homme edp but thinner and performance lacks.
But the house needs this kind of video.
Also, more sunnamusk exposure would be good. Maybe even an oil video.

Ultra male & le male le parfum are top of the line when it comes to jpg! At least currently
Just bought a decant of ultra male due to all the hype and tbh I find is too sweet. To me it leans towards the feminine side and could have been called ultra female 😂. I own one million and million lucky and don’t find them as sweet as ultra male and both of them are sweet perfumes. Ultra male reminds me of a chewing gum I used to buy when I was a kid.
@@RameezRazaRiaz99 I only wear ultra male when it’s winter, the scent isn’t as sweet and it’s divine. Sure you can wear it out to a club/bar but if it’s hot outside or humid or warm temperatures might be cloying

Last year I bought Le Male Le Parfum and Ultra Male , and now that a year has come around I got Le Male edt and Le Male Elixir. I had never previously tried the original. I really like both. I just love that vibe that JPG gives off.
How would you rate all of those? I have le male le perfum. Thinking about buying Ultra male now. Is it worth it? I love le parfum.
@@ambiven10 I think it is worth it if you want something very sweet and playful in your collection. :) And it is strong. It is different than le male le parfum because lmlp is not that sweet and is more powdery and it is smooth and kinda elegant-ish.

@@ambiven10 I enjoy Le Male edt. I have been wearing it for 3-4 days. I can say that it is something completely different than ultra male. The original Le Male is very powdery. My girlfriend even said it smells like baby powder. Smelling it you can understand how le male le parfum got its inspiration with a tiny bit powdery vibe to it. Comparing original Le Male and Ultramale then Ultramale is super sweet and strong , but I don’t get any resemblance between it and the original. The original seems closer to the skin and not really projecting a lot. Maybe it is because of the fact that my nose is used to Jean Paul Gaultier fragrances and it just does not pick them up in the air that much. For now it feels like the original Le Male edt has 1-2 hours moderate projections and then lasts. 8-9 hours on skin. Ultramale I feel like has a strong projection first 6-8 hours maybe and then a skin scent probably 3 hours more.
