Being a f2p player I prefer to spend my money on buying games for my PC, I play DS as much as I can and I simply enjoy the game and its accessible content, the rest doesn't matter to me, I don't even try to be top in mp or even be competitive, I only spent 10 dollars on the event pass on one occasion and thanks to that I have the Apollo IE Bugatti EB110 and the Jaguar CX75 at maximum stars.

We always joke about EA making games too expensive with dlcs But damn, a need for speed unbound dlc with 7 cars and more costs 10 dollars, and if you buy all of them maybe 50 dollars total. I wish I had this much money to spend on getting a desired car but also...the sunk cost fallacy is the perfect way to describe this game right now. It really doesn't make sense I try to spend anymore money so HEAVILY on maxing out a car or upgrading it...the fastest car I have right now is a 4 star Bugatti Chiron and It's already to expensive to upgrade. I don't think gameloft will change or adjust the ingame currencies because there are many people who will happily spend thousands on the game to keep it going so ...lol I'll just play when I can and go
I have a suggestion that may make you spend less or way less money on the Drive Syndicates. Don’t max out every support car and the main car. Just get them to the maximum stars that “Free to play” players, like me, can get to. But even if you don’t have the cars upgraded to the max, or you didn’t get the main car, that’s fine. You just have to be grateful for what you got from the Drive Syndicate. Like me, I should be grateful for getting the Porsche Mission R, and the Enzo Ferrari. Bruh, I never knew that Drive Syndicates are such P2W events, since DS9 is my first ever drive syndicate... And I am still stuck on the Enzo stage because I am ONE blueprint short of unlocking the car. But that being said, the Porsche Mission R at 3 stars is an extremely fun car to drive, so I have no regrets at 3 starring my Mission R. Also @CarsOnGaming, I hope you can make a video about whether the "hotfix" actually improved ALU gameplay or did anything but fix the issues. For me, the game runs even worse somehow, and I have to lower the resolution scale to 70% just to get a stable 60FPS (My laptop has a NVIDIA GTX1650 GPU btw) And in the Trion Nemesis event, the RImac Concept S is the new "epic import parts" pack car.
If Gameloft releases a hotfix that actually makes a difference I'll make a video about it. So far, most of the hotfixes have literally fixed close to nothing
Absolut can't be worse than it is now at this point. Nitro of bolide Handling like Tuatara Okay-ish, not even good acceleration. Good TS but not close to A9C or devel plus can't maintain coz of all the other stats if the track is even a lil bit curvy.
last time i was seriously playing A9 the jesko drive syndicate event was going on and that time that was what made me quit cause of the usual p2w mechanic and now they outdid themselves with this newer absolut ds
Luckily, I had all C and B wildcards as I anticipated a drive syndicate would show up. Porsche mission R was a breeze. I already had enzo at 2 star before the event started. So I played past enzo quite well. Started playing Essenza with a good amount of syndicate coins remaining. After getting Essenza key, I just decided to be satisfied with my achievements. am now at 161 cars grg lvl 32. Anyways, it is your money. I just hope you got its worth and that you are happy with the rewards.
This car accelerates more when you drift in a straight line and do you think it's not so broken in this version? It's my favorite car and I'll also see how to get it to at least 6*

It's likely getting nerfed at some point in the future, just as I said in my previous videos, but I got it as the last DS car, as well as to commemorate mi Asphalt 8 days
The reality is that Gameloft has over-monetized the ALU much more than what it used to be in A9, every event requires some bit of actual monetary value to successfully complete. I imagine that it is still gonna get even worse in the near future, let's see how it will unfold.

this is the only game i've seen where people spend so much for unlocking single items , in all the other games people just buy the monthly pass mostly and in those games it is the most value for money option . while in asphalt the pass gives you 1 useless free car and basically just allows you grind more then f2p players and increases the currency rewards a little . unite pass is the least value for money pass in all the games because somehow the asphalt community is willing to pay for every single item separately.

this is the only game i've seen where people spend so much for unlocking single items , in all the other games people just buy the monthly pass mostly and in those games it is the most value for money option . while in asphalt the pass gives you 1 useless free car and basically just allows you grind more then f2p players and increases the currency rewards a little . unite pass is the least value for money pass in all the games because somehow the asphalt community is willing to pay for every single item separately.

Got a decent collection of cars I never use, some of them unlocked but sitting at one star since forever (I'm looking at you Evija), and still i feel guilty af for wasting my cash on such predatory tactics. Don't know how do you cope with it man, but 4k+ for one virtual car is depressing. You can literally purchase a real car with that money. Wish you well man, and to never do this again 😅
