the same people complaining about Logano are the same people we changed the format for in 2014 to prevent another 5 in a row winner. 5 of #3's championships came in years where he did not win the most races. we need to give up on these people and focus on the positives. They're fandom is rabid. They act like its their damn daddies out there in the cars. NASCAR cannot keep changing its format for people that are never going to be happy.
We already got a clue that Ford had struggled a lot until SHR switch back in 2017, although announced a year earlier. We hope the situation remains intact this year with the new model (Ford Mustang).

Another overshadowed performamce by Kenseth. He took a 25th place car and turned it into a top 10 car in just 15 races. The fact this guy cant get a top tier ride in Nascar blows my mind. Yet drivers like Jones, Suarez, Byron, Hemric, etc. get called up and lay en egg because they dont have 20 extra horsepower over the field like they normally have on Saturdays

nope. the stage racing added excitement. old timers probably don't like it, but it was unbearable watching the races before, they were just way too long of going in a left turn circle with no breaks. I couldn't sit through a race.
Randall, unfortunately most new fans can't follow 20 laps without falling asleep. Don't get me wrong, I'm on the young side, in a way, as I started watching in 2009 but, I would rather have that stage deal than fake debris cautions. Me too, I hate that stage deal and that playoff deal but I've accepted the fact that they don't seem to want to go back to the legit points system. We have this BS stage deal but at least, they don't throw fake cautions every 30 laps. It was possible to observe some decent clean racing, as for example, the first stage of 70 or so laps was run caution free. They have to fix the aero push, though.
No fun in deciding a champion in week 29 lol. However, I do like the knockout stuff. You gotta work to get to the playoffs, then you gotta be consistently good to win it all.

These newer drivers were getting too "smart" and laying around all race, saving equipment, then running hard at the end. Now there is an incentive to run hard all race. The other option besides stage racing would have been to shorten the races to 200-300 milers every week. That would suck.

Another horrible race year with this stupid playoff system. NASCAR is slowly killing it’s self. The race stands are only 50% full except for Darlington. NASCAR needs to bring back Rockingham and North Wilkesboro. They need to add more short tracks and road courses.
I haven't watched the entire season, only 3 or 4 races but from the highlights I've seen this season, it feels like those who deserved it where at Homestead, part of the championship 4. Not too sure what people think of Logano. But it's better than 2015 where Kyle Busch won the championship although he only ran half the season... And I like Kyle Busch.
Bringing back old tracks won't resolve the problem, neither cancelling the playoffs, it is interest in people. NASCAR doesn't appeal to a newer generation, and they tried it by making the playoffs and adding gimmicks. It's still fairly popular, in the top 5 of most watched sports in the US.

Overall a very good clean race in my opinion, without fake debris cautions, apart from that usual stage deal but I agree that aero push and dirty air was massive in this race. All you had to do was to take the line of the car behind and he could not catch you.
