I loved it when you said " If you are a mouse or an insect, this is what you see!" I hardly ever hear people talking about the perspective of other creatures. I love that about you!
Thank you Sean for another wonderful video! Thank Mr. Hendi for us, for being willing to let us "tour" his beautiful nursery and teaching us to appreciate this underrated plant!
Omg - I’m not even finished watching this and it’s one my favorite plant videos ever. These plants are unbelievably beautiful! I wish we could get all of these in the US - but then I’d be broke. 🤷🏻♀️. Sean, thank you for another great video. I love your appreciation and enthusiasm for these plants. That’s how I feel watching!!
My three year old’s favorite color is pink. I have gotten her a few of these guys to encourage the plant addiction early! It’s been a great way to connect and it is so much fun to watch her check if her plants need water.
I love aglonemas, they are an easy to grow house plant in Australia. Who needs flowers with colourful foliage like this, Also thanks for the subtitle, I find a lot of garden videos from Asia but not in English or subtitles sadly.
That was a wonderful tour, Thank you so much for allowing us to go along on the journey. Now, I want all the aglaonema, especially the aglaonema bamboo. I only have about 15 or so now so I have a lot of shopping to do 😊
What a dream nursery, those plants have such an amazing guardian 🥰 Aglaonema have become my favorite in my plant collection, how lucky am I that my favorite color plants have pink and green!!! So far I only have 15 different Aglaonema and I'm looking forward to having many more! Plants give such peace, joy, and love ✌🏾💚🪴
Best aglaonema video ever! I would like to thank the host and you for doing this! Aglaonema is so underrated! Many of them look similar, but the name game is strong in Indonesia! Who doesn't want a plant named Hello Kitty or Cinderella! LOL! I'm sure the care is a bit different where I live but, all of care information was easily understood and very helpful! The propagation information was amazing!
I absolutely loooove aglaonemas! I have at least 7 right now (I have over 200 plants so that's the amount I can count off the top of my head lol) I had 4 more but unfortunately they didn't survive. Now I must find several that were shown in this video especially the Hello Kitty! Fantastic video, Shawn! I am in the wrong line of work. I am so jealous that you get to do this but mostly happy and thankful!
Great video indeed. It is very nice to see how you connect with these local entrepreneurs who are indeed creating and maintaining an artform literally.
I didn't think about propagating them the way Mr Hendy showed us - thank you so much! In Hungary aglaonema is a classic plant that is gaining popularity again thanks to these new exciting varieties. Thanks for the video!
My goodness, I'm in NY and I have the one of the aglaonemas shown here as a rare plant (it was even named something else). I'm sure it comes from Pak Hendi's nursery in Sawangan--not too far from where I grew up! This place is already on my visit list. Great video!
Thank you so much. Aglaonemas are my favorite houseplant. I’m a pandemic plant parent. I started collecting plants in June 2020. I got so excited watching this video. I have 21 different Aglaonemas. My first one was a Siam Aurora. Also thank Mr. Hendi for giving us interesting insight into growing and caring for those wonderfully beautiful plants. 🤗💕
Woooow! So many varieties of aglaomema. I really love aglaonemas and it's wonderful to see them growing healthy, lush and bushy😍 Actually aglaonema is one of my favorite plant. Next is Calatheas, philos, anthurium folliage varieties, caladiums and many many more🥰❤
This is the most attention I've ever given to any video! So engaging! Love it! I suppose it's more on the relaxing pace and the calm and soothing demeanor of the guy. I was glued to the monitor! LOL And it's great to know that something I've been doing instinctively is actualy right: compacting only the sides for fat roots like aglos!
Best video ever! My favorite plant is the aglaonema. And as a coincidence, I have a red legacy in my bathroom with 3 leaves, growing well but slowly. It was interesting to note that he changes the soil every 6 months and uses betadine to prevent bacterial infections. I've just propagated 3 nodes from my Lady Valentine.....and have covered them with a plastic bag for more humidity. It's so exciting to see soo many varieties.....loved that tricolor aglaonema too and there is a lotus aglaonema that you should check out.....sooo pretty. Loved this journey!! ❤ Thanks Sean, from Jo in New Zealand 🇳🇿
A nice video. Very informative. The Aglaonema growers will surely like this. The conversation displayed in English helped persons like me who can’t follow your language and this was really a good practice. I enjoyed the video very much and this helped me to learn many more factors of this plant. Thank you so much. All the best. 🙏 🌹
What a wonderful place!!! I am in the US and am in total envy of this video. I love Aglaonema's and am always hunting to add to my collection. This would be my candy store of plants. :D
Love the different species. I grow these in Florida and they are my favorite plant to grow and propagate. I actually do well with these compared to calatheas that I have trouble with. I found Aglaonemas to be a forgiving plant and they love our humidity as well as indoors too.
Thank you Sean for another informative video and to Mr Hendi for giving a tour to his massive collection and sharing his knowledge. I have few collections of Aglaonema hoping to get my hands on to some rare ones , but they are not commonly available here in US nursery, I got mine on what’s available in big box .it’s hard to pick a favorite . I had my eyes on Sultan of Brunei , suxom and Hello kitty and the white one, they are all stunning . It was a such a feast to the eyes watching those beauties.
I'm slowly growing my aglaonema collection! Started out with a gift from a neighbor, which really enchanted me. Then I started looking for the different varieties. I have like 8 now, I think.. Or maybe more. I have too many plants1 Sometimes I get one plant and come home to realize I already have 1 or 2 of that plant. LOL
i just bought my first agleonema (a baby red zircon) and i am glad i don't have enough space because after your video i can see how one could easly start to collect those.
Thank you so much for this video. I mostly collect Hoyas (170+ species/cultivars), but I also love Aglaonemas. I have about 10 right now and I just ordered 6 more. Lol. They are all so lovely and I’m excited to grow my collection. One more cool thing I noticed was some words were similar to my native language (Tagalog). I actually caught some of them like mura = cheap, mahal = expensive, puti = white, bunga = flower/fruit, basa = wet, dahon = leaf. Maybe spelling might be different, but the way it’s pronounced is the same way. It’s just so fascinating.
What a wonderland of Aglaonemias. My favorite ones are any that have the white, pink and little green. I have one you see in most garden centers. I have divided it twice be because it had gotten so big and fat. I gave my sister half of my plant and she's given away many cuttings from hers. They are truly very beautiful. I had no idea there was so many different color variations of this plant. Thank you for the wonderful tour and so many .
Ive rotted my aglaonema over and over again. They really hate water and is not forgiving with overwatering. Ive left bare root cutting accidentally on the floor for a day and its perfectly healthy. These guys really like to be on the dry side.
Excellent content Sean! I have never seen so many aglaonema varieties before! Enjoyed this thoroughly. Thanks! And thank you Mr Hendi for sharing your knowledge!🙏🏼😊
I didn't know we can use iodine on the fresh cut. Thanks for the new knowledge. I collect Aglaonema too. There are many more types actually. Love them to bits.

Hi Sean. This place is amazing. I am now in love with aglaonemas. I have a few but now I want almost all of them lol. I would love to own the valentine plant. It’s not easy to find here and I am sure it will cost me a lot. Thank you for sharing. Sending my support. 😁
