I saw this in London and was blown away by it. It felt like I was standing on a walkway over an infinite hole because the reflection was so perfect. I also loved Wilson's "Turning the Place Over" art work installed into Cross Keys House in Moorfields between 2007 - 2011.
I saw this installation,at first you don’t know what it is, and assume it’s a mirror - but there is also the smell of oil in the air and your brain is trying to make sense of it. Amazing experience.
I saw it in the Saatchi Kings Road and was amazed. First off the smell of the oil hit me, so there was an industrial smell which was another sensory response. I loved it but it was also disturbing too. This may have been unique to me as I am troubled by bodies of water, the sea and I could never go on a boat and float. Yet the reflection of the oil was mesmerizing and fun. The room was silent too, perhaps the density of the oil absorbs sound. In any event, I was most fortunate to see it. It was a wonderful experience. If I recall correctly too, I was the only one in the room, the only one viewing it - that too will have had an effect. Thank you for this interview, it explained a great deal more to me. Cheers

Bizarre... I can clearly remember seeing it in a much smaller versions in the saatchi gallery in Saints John’s wood NW8
Neat
Some artists aren’t artist they’re just rich people with ideas and no skill
