- Spiritual care leaders recognize that screening for spiritual needs can help chaplains get to the patients who most need their care. However, selecting the best items for spiritual screening and successfully implementing it can be challenging. In this webinar, after a brief review of research about spiritual screening, chaplains from Ochsner Baptist Medical Center and The Christ Hospital Health Network will describe how they developed and implemented spiritual screening in their inpatient contexts. At the conclusion of the webinar, we will announce an opportunity to join a workgroup to share best practices and develop future research in spiritual screening for both the in- and outpatient contexts.
