    I guess it depends on where exactly you live. If you live out in the country, why wouldnt you have a land line? I live in Petaluma and have reliable fast internet and cell coverage. I have had very few power outages in the 22 years I have lived here. By "very few" i would say less than 6 and only 1 that lasted around 2 hours. Gophers in a rural area are probably not a problem that is specific to Sonoma County. Im sure they have them in western Marin too. I live in town and dont notice any gophers, however the adobe clay soil is so hard they probably cant dig here. Infrequently I have noticed "cow smells." I noticed it too when I lived in Tulare county and probably any other rural area where cows are present. None of these problems are particular to Sonoma County. They are more a symptom of living in the country anywhere.

      Thanks for taking the time to write a comment! We actually had a power outage two nights ago in Southern Sebastopol and I heard all the generators turning on. This video is really geared for city people like myself who don’t really know what it’s like to live in the country 😊. Glad you love living here! It’s a great place to call home.
