Psalm 23 (ESV)
"The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever."

I've been asking God for an honest, compatible, in person friend for over a decade. I'm beyond tired. God has decided to condemn me to solitary confinement. Only liars come. I want to go home to my Lord. It is not enough to walk alone in this life only knowing Jesus. Prayers.

I was in love with Jesus and then He made me look at my sin (in a not so pleasant way). The chastising was tough and lessons learnt and I now feel He is restoring my soul yet the love I felt for Him at first is absent. I feel I have a wall up even though I have a personal relationship with Him and have kept the faith. What to do! I guess it was childlike love and now I'm afraid of Him and yes, I have fully repented.
