FINALLY got around using this on my wife’s car. Did a wash and quick clay and applied this new product… it was SO easy and the results are amazing. Curious to see how well it keeps her car cleaner.
Without calling out other companies, it seems similar to the quick ceramic stuff offered by others. I can't wait to try yours and compare, because my 4runner lives in a constant state of a lot of the blue stuff, and it stays nice

Love it. My first thought for my currently uncoated car is apply dry, let cure, rinse and spray again with wet technique and dry with hydrate. Double the added layers specifically for the first time I use it. Thoughts?
When Larry talks about “depth of shine” it doesn’t do the product justice. Using the Ammo Hydrate to dry the car, and then Blush to wax the car, It’s unreal that car products are able to make your vehicle look that good. Light will his the car like it never did before.

Hey Larry, this is an exciting product! Reminds me of 303 SiO2, in the wet application process. Two questions. 1. When rinsing off, should we do a light rinse, let it run, then fully wash off? And 2. How bad is it to do in the sun? I know 303 SiO2 can cause some major problems in the sun.
I think I'm not hardcore enough for Reflex Pro, but this seems perfect.
Some feedback Larry. I washed with foam and boost, used an iron remover on the paint, bug tar cleaner in tiny spots, clayed, used Ammo Skin and then applied reflex top coat dry and buffed out. Ended up with slightly hazy looking residue after, shined but slightly hazy. I washed 2 days later and reapplied top coat wet method and damn it looks 100x better. Maybe you didn’t test with that combination process etc etc but just some good feedback. Love the shine now 🤩

Always fun to see what you come up with! If you want to go the dry route, with a coated car, should you still dry with Hydrate? Also, how long does Reflex Pro last? How can you tell if you need a re-coat? My car is driven about 5K/year and garage kept. Thanks!
Yes, the lubrication of Hydrate is still preferred for drying and works in harmony with Top Coat. Did these exact steps on the AMG :)
Reflex Pro can last one to two years but I believe Larry said he would re-coat at about the one year mark. Everyone’s mileage will vary based on conditions the vehicle is kept in, wash methods and frequency, etc.
Hey Larry! What do you think of drying with a leaf blower? I plan on switching over to your pro line soon and I was going to do 2 coats of reflex on the wheels and paint. Then getting top coat to apply every 2ish months. If I do this would I need the added protection of hydrate?

Hi Larry - i have my model 3 coated with Ammo Reflex Pro. I regularly go through a touchless car wash and was wondering how chemically resistant the enamel coat is? I was thinking that i top the enamel coat with this, but i wanted to see if the top coat is necessary as a "sacrificial" layer to the high ph soaps at touchless washes?

Can you use it as a spray on and spray off coating while the car is wet without drying it afterwards? I try to keep my top coats as easy as possible and use spotless rinse to not have to hand dry my car.
Does it last the same amount of time if you spray it on and spray it off vs fully wiping it on dry paint?
Is it ok to use on black plastic trim, usually the type down by the rockers and lower bumpers?

I sometimes drive 1000 or more miles on highway. If weather is bad or there is lot of bugs glass gets smudged. What is best way to clean glass when you stop to rest?
I’d use a rinseless wash on the windshield to get the heavy stuff then go over it a second time with an alcohol based glass cleaner like invisible glass to get any left over. If you keep a good windshield coating or sealant on your glass it will make it much easier.
So does ammo skin still have relevance in your line now you have the reflex line of coatings?
Def! coating isn’t necessarily the answer for everyone. The original paint regimen is still a fantastic maintenance plan. Skin could also be maintained with Top Coat for the look and maintenance of water beading.

Top Coat is purely a protectant whereas Hydrate is a lubricant

I have the same question and am replying in hopes your comment is answered. I use reflex pro, and reboot top coat. I love the extra protection of Skin but am confused about where it comes in the "layering".

Hey. In short, no. Hydrate is a drying aide. Top coat is a protective product.
@@AMMONYCSTUDIO The product label sheet on the website indicates Top Coat offers no lubrication. Hydrate and then top coat would be the more ideal application I assume.
