For anyone confused about irrelevant speed: He doesn't need to leave, he's already there. Basically meaning a light stroll and he's crossing Universes.
That’s not what irrelevant speed is or it’s not a very good explanation of it.
Irrelevant speed is when you are unbound by the concepts of time, space, and distance making all these irrelevant to your speed which is usually needed to cross Outerversal realms which transcend these concepts too.
Infinite speed is when you can cross infinite distance in finite speed so when the Light of Helios crosses the infinite sized underworld that is infinite speed.
Inaccessible speed is when you can move in zero time or when you can move in a timeless realm so it’s superior to infinite speed which still has time as a factor.
Immeasurable speed is when you break the speed formula of distance divided by time = speed since on this level you transcend linear time and most on this tier can either travel through time with just sheer speed or can move in realms beyond time yet is it not above the concepts in totality.

In GOH, Jin Mori is a reincarnation of Wukong after the journey to the west story, though if I remember correctly, in that version something went wrong after the end when Buddha still screwed him over. And in GOH, all the mythical pantheon exists and he fought against the Greek gods too lol. Though in my opinion, Jin Mori would be the closest one could get to the powerscaling of og Sun Wukong.

72 transformations doesn't mean 72 specifically. It is more of a symbolic number in daoist/Chinese literature, but that ability grants him the ability to transform to WHATEVER HE WANTS (except for the Buddha of course.)
Simply, it gives him 72 different abilities, with shapeshifting into anything being one of them. And it also gives him 72 extra lives, kinda like Super Mario's lives mechanic.

No. He said no one can challenge him into a duel except him because he knew anything or anyone would die fighting a battle Buddha.
Erlang was Wukong's brother who hated the heavens and the Jade Emperor for doing things to his mother.
So what he basically did was kill Wukong and let the chosen one get all his memories back but without the golden headband and be truly free from all and everything including Buddha.
That's why we see a cutscene after defeating Erlang Shen.

Movies, TV shows and full season animated shows (my favorite is Journey to the West cartoon, 52 episodes made in the 90s with insane animation and amazing opening and ending songs). Tons and tons of them were made like both Jet Li and Donnie Yen has played as Wukong. Even Japanese anime with altered stories called "Saiyuki" (meaning Journey to the West). Of course there's also Dragon Ball, inspired by JttW, and Naruto inspired by Dragon Ball AND JttW. The most famous TV show was the 1986 live action Journey to the West, majority of Asia knows about this show (pretty sure Toriyama-sensei and lots of manga creators has seen the show with Japanese subs, breaks my heart that he's not here to play the game) and knows the theme song 云宫迅音 Celestial Symphony. The devs included a modern orchestral version of the song in Black Myth Wukong, and at the end of the very first game play trailer about 4 years ago, the old monkey was humming the theme song. And that's when Chinese people, and Asia in general, had their neurons firing, nostalgia was being triggered. This song is basically built into the DNA of Asians. People were talking about their childhood as little boys and girls watching the show, idolizing Wukong, and crying that they're hearing this song again in mainstream entertainment after 25-30 years. The devs putting the song in the very first trailer means they meant business, they knew the impact of the 1986 show, used it as an INGENIUS marketing tool to immediately hook all Asians. Game Science made this game with the Chinese speaking audience in mind, but most of Asia as well. There's LOTS AND LOTS of people from other countries who have never seen the 1986 show (old monkey talking about Wukong: "you must have all heard stories about him," yes for most of Asia, very few Westerners even know about Wukong's story or JttW), so they don't know the context. And the new story that's never been told before is the player who loved the '86 JttW and Wukong, now get to play as a reincarnated "Destined One" to gain Wukong's skills, earn the titles of 美猴王“Beautiful Monkey King” and 齐天大圣“Great Sage Equal to Heaven,” and become the new Sun Wukong.

just so you guys know, the main story of journey to the west is about buddha wanting his scriptures to be sent to china(buddha being indian) so he let his second disciple, "golden cicada guy", to reincarnate into china and walk to india for the scriptures, then bring them back to china. sunwukong, along with two others, a pig demon and a river monster, both reincarnated from celestial generals, were sent to protect golden cicada on the journey.

Not only did Wukong cross his name out of the book of death but he also crossed out the names of as many monkeys as he could find. He don’t play about his people. Also, he didn’t go to hell himself. He got kidnapped by some spirits that take people to hell and was pissed since…well he’s immortal. Hell is not supposed to be one of the places he ever goes. He decided to make it everybody’s problem though by bashing his way into hell and confronting the ten kings who then allowed him to look through the books of death to figure out how he possibly could’ve been mistakenly brought down there…Crazy story.
I like how he said no matter what mythology kratos enters he’ll still be on top but I think Chinese and Hinduism might give him the most trouble

I’ve been telling reactors I enjoy who have recently watched Official Divine that you guys should not take his words at face value cuz he’s infamous in the power scaling and debating community for not being very accurate and tending to taking things to their highest possible interpretations to get the highest scaling even when it isn’t accurate or consistent in the lore. He also doesn’t really explain shit in his videos when it comes to powers and tiers cuz he assumes you would know due to being interested in scaling.
He isn’t always wrong but he isn’t the most creditable, I can suggest more accurate channels. I can also check and tell you which videos of his are fine to watch if you still want to check him out cuz I know most of the characters he’s covered or my friends do cuz we are power scalers too.
He was mostly right about Sun Wukong with a few debatable or incorrect things, but his scaling on Kratos was fairly accurate surprisingly but he didn’t go in-depth at all.
Wukong at his best does win, before he becomes enlightened it could be close yet not afterwards.
Goji-Chronic does a more in-depth video on Kratos vs Sun Wukong, I know the TH-camr personally he’s pretty good tho he isn’t always right but my friends have helped him, my friend Edgard helped him out which is good cuz my bro did more research than anyone in the community finding every source and statement that exists for GoW, so it’s a good video. His videos on GoW are better than OD’s video.
Also some misconceptions when it comes to powers; just cuz someone is immortal doesn’t mean they can’t die there are many types of immortality and you can stack them yet there are ways to negate immortality and some can resist the negation and some negation can overcome it and etc. cuz there are layers to it. Same with invulnerability.
Sun Wukong has had his soul taken to hell and he fought as a soul then that’s when he wrote his name out of the book of death.
Also for you to understand these videos especially if they don’t explain much like Official Divine I suggest watching a video on how power scaling or the tier system works, Surfbone makes a decent video on it but not all his takes are good like he downplays dragon ball a bit yet he is also fighting off fanboys so he’s not the worst.

Son Wukong could only lose if he chose to. The only constraint he has is a constricting band he was tricked into wearing during the journey to the west that causes him crippling migraines when someone recites the spell (meant to keep him in line during the journey).

@@Nico-o1rJobbers and Goons is not a godo person or channel, Splash is a dishonest rat who likes to wank stuff with high end interpretations or dumb arguments that ain’t consistent but he doesn’t like something he sometimes downplays it too, and he’s not very consistent in his scaling overall.
He is also a shitty person, I’ve been in his discord back in the day, I was around when Clyde and Seth exposed him for dming a minor for ERP saying shit like “Booty like a Pillow” to them, they had to confront him and made him admit to it after he lied, he cried and promised not to do it again so they gave him a chance, Noodles also exposed him but took the video down like a bitch due to a shitty deal.
Also those characters you mentioned are all weaker than Wukong, Dark Tower is a very overhyped verse, Bill is fodder in comparison, and Dimento is decent but his outer arguments are weak af.
thats why wukong has no healthbar in the game, but the destined one does shows wukong immortality compared to the destined one mortal body
