THIS MOVIE IS A TIGHT SLAP to all the liberal woke Fem*n*st* who wanted to enter the Holy Shrine of Sabarimala.
8 years old Kallu alias Deva Nandha is in utmost desparation & desire to meet her God Lord Ayyapan. Her father promised that this time he will take to Sabarimala but destiny is written different for Kallu and how Kallu fulfills her wish forms rest part of the movie.
There are few movies where we cannot observe any negativity and Malikappuram is one of it.
Malikappuram is a 2022 Indian Malayalam-language action drama film directed by Vishnu Sasi Shankar and starring Unni Mukundan in the lead role. The film was released in theatres on 30 December 2022. The story revolves around an 8-year-old girl, Kallu, who decides to go to Sabarimala Temple located at the Sabarimala hill inside the Periyar Tiger Reserve in Kerala, India.

I watched this film with my family, friends 3 times in theatre, just to give tribute in this form to Lord Ayyappa and of course the film is good. Its actually a tribute because we were not able to do anything when Lord Ayyappa was attacked indirectly by attack on Sabarimala by leftist (religious terrorist in the form of women). We want to show that we are with Lord Ayyappa, he's our family member. Family member ki film to hit karanii hi hai.👍

Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa. Tears were flowing from my eyes while watching it. I am one who usually watches MCU and DCU movies and a lot of Hollywood movies. But the deep connection to my culture and tradition was sleeping inside me which was invoked by this movie. Now I want to take my kids to Sabarimala before they turn 10. I have only a very vague memory of me going to mala myself which was 20+ years ago.

Malikapuram is a well made movie, I watched on the first day. I suggested it to many Hindu devotees who were on their 41 days of abstinence, they also watched it and appreciated it a lot.
Lord Ayyappa is (was) honored by people of every religion in Kerala. As recent as last week, the Hindu devotees of my neighborhood, who were setting out on their pilgrimage to #SABARIMALA invited me to their function (held in an open space), knowing fully well that I'm a Christian.
Last month while a few devotees invited me to a temple where a similar function was held, I went to the temple, but didn't enter the premises, as I didn't want to offend anyone's religious sentiments. Then, while I was observing from outside, I saw that while the Hindu devotees are fully engaged in their prayers and rituals, it was the Muslims in the neighborhood who did the real hard work of cooking their meals, erecting the pandal, cleaning up the premises and so on. I asked one of those Muslims who I'm familiar with about the proceedings and he told me that the Hindu brethren also cooperate when it comes to the feasts of Muslims.
This is the kind of Kerala and India I want, where we help and support each other. Let not political and religious interests divide us. Anything that divides us is our enemy.

Sir... Its a superb movie...i watched it on the second day itself.Mein ek malayali hoon born n bought up in Delhi... Im a devotee of lord ayyappa n a fan of unni mukundan tooo.... Unni mukundan is from Gujrat.. He was born in kerala but rest his studies n all were done in gujrat... And u know gujrati hundus are very proud 56 inch chaati wala. 😊. He came to kerala just to become an actor... N he had no godfather in film field.... He struggled a lot. But he never gave up his believes for getting favour from anybody... actor or community. Thus A particular community... Political parties n people were behind him tortured n degraded his film... Even now he is facing it... But his believes are so strong that all that negative attacks turns to positive success. He is a strong devotee of lord Hanuman n Lord Ayyappa.

I strongly recommend to read "women and sabarimala" by sinu Joseph. Wonderful book to understand the scientific reason behind the entry restriction for women in menstrual age. This book clearly explains the concept of sasta (another name for ayyappa) and relation between the chakras in our body and six ayyappa temples. It also explains the need to preserve the age old temples in our country.

1. The credit to RSS Sarsanchalak, in a state where their workers are murdered day in and out.

3. Please highlight a little bit on Unni Mukundan's career and how he has been hounded by leftist even in his previous movies.
