i heard this tune for the first time on you tube in a post from the BYU male chorus as they sang in a cathedral in Latvia. the words i have known for many years with the tune from the LDS hymnal. it's a great song using either tune .!

Thank you for still using male voices....so many today are only women's voices and it is so boring not to have the men with them...that's why God gave sopranos, second sopranos, almost, base tenor , etc. It is all to blend harmoniously...God knows what He is doing..Thank you again, In Jesus, Mrs. Margaret (Margie) Perry. This has been my favorite hymn my whole life, and I am 87.
When God got me out of a cult this was the line He gave me to comfort and reassure me He was with me and would indeed carry me to the end.

I don't understand why so many unliked this video. I love this hymn, it brings me joy, and above all edifies the Lord!!!!!
The melody is hard to grasp.
The people who unlike this video is probably because they haven’t found our Lord Almighty God.
