Ive had these for about 2 years now.
Wear them most days for work
    Comfort 10/10
Lace up and putting them on 10/10
The vibram sole durability and grip on things like drains and ice 10/10
Build quality 7/10. But this is only the glue which holds the sole to theb fabric boot i just keep doing glue repairs when they start to come away from the boot fabric.
    Water proof 6/10
Over all though without these boots i would have had to take time off work due to really bad shit splints but you can barely feel them with these on also they take all the strain pf your achiles heel really food pair of boots if your looking for the comfort of sketchers but to look good at the same time .

Just ordered the 2.0, this will be my 3rd pair. As a UPS driver I can say that I really put these hybrid boots to the test. They have held up. I got about 6 months of function and comfort out of them. They are still comfy and water proof but I’ve worn down the treads on the heal and ball. These are the ultimate sneaker boot, better than the HOKA hybrid boots that I previously owned. The HOKA fell apart faster and lost the water protection sooner. Also, many of the HOKA styles are pronated, meaning the foot tilts inward, which is an abnormality and not good for many people. Anyway, some may not like the hovr boots but we all have different feet. These hovr boots feel like they were designed for my exact foot structure. Perfect.

Thank you! I should add that I haven’t had any issues with water getting in the boot. I know there are some concerns about that. I will say that I have had some light moisture working its way in when exposed to prolonged rainfall, but no defective leaks.

I'm a pheasant hunter and I walk hundreds of miles a year. These boots don't hold up that well but the lightweight and comfort is worth it.

I just bought a pair of the 2.0 last night from Cabela's! Love em so far and they are so, so light and comfortable. I think they're running a half size too big but it's not that big of an issue it seems.

Good review. I had planned on forking out $400 for some Crispi boots, but for $200 I may try these out. I tried some on today at cabelas and was very surprised at the comfort. For the mountain hunting I do (Arkansas), I think these would be great for the miles I put in. I typically run through a pair of hikers each year.

    • @ericweber7707

I’ve never worn Crispi boots but I’ve heard good things about them and a lot of people like them. I used my UA Hovr hiking in Hot Springs National Park in Arkansas.

I have their leather counterpart & they are so COMFORTABLE but not too durable. The boot literally feels like a sneaker with no break in time, I am still going to buy another pair, but I wish they would make a full workboot.

I wear a 9 in UA shoes and they fit perfectly. But when I used the size guide on the UA website, my measurement says I’m a 7.5…Today I tried on a 9 of UA boots but it was not a Hovr model(Stellar G2) and they were huge. Do you wear the same size UA sneaker as the Hovr Dawn 2.0?

    • @ericweber7707
      @ericweber7707  ปีที่แล้ว

I have never tried on the UA Steller G2. I looked that model up and some reviews say it runs large. I wear a US Men's size 9.5 in many different shoe brands. These UA HOVR Dawn boots I wear a US Men's size 9.5. Keep in mind the sock thickness you wear or want to wear while wearing these or any shoe/boot type.

There are two versions or models. A uninsulated version (which is in my video) and a primaloft 400G insulated version. Depending on which warmth level of socks you wear + your cold tolerance of your body/feet will depend on how warm either of these boots apply to you.
