    I so love these videos they put out about their lives. A great way to connect to their fans. All of the home videos of these members are so relatable. Nothing fancy....just real people.

      true Brenda ! I think that's part of our attraction to Home Free...they have no airs, no pretense, they are who they are...Chance is very country, and he gives off that "country vibe"...some might think he's too aloof...but I have a ton of cousins in South Georgia that are exactly like Chance...inroverted, quiet & really nice folks once they let you into their life...they don't trust city folks that easily.

    All these guys are so humble, never forgetting where they come from.
    It's beautiful that they stay so grateful. 🥰

    Love seeing these behind the scenes videos of the Home Free guy's backgrounds. Chance comes from good country roots & is really laid back. Nice seeing the home & land he grew up in.

    I grew up in a similar area in Southwest Missouri. It DOES get cold here, lol. I burn around 10 cord/year. I've been to the area where Chance grew up, doesn't get quite as cold there. Beautiful part of the deep South.

  • @ohseedee27

    All the wood? Here in the South, sixty degrees is cold enough for a fire, lol, though the temps do get down to freezing and below occasionally. In Louisiana, we may have the fireplace rolling one day, and the next we'll be in shorts. The temperature is just that fickle. But we love it.

    Lyle, I enjoyed re-watching this with you much more than I did watching by myself the 1st time. By the way, Austin is the one from Georgia, but as far as the way they grew up, there's not much difference! This helps us understand why Home Free is so special. They all had a stable foundation growing up & were taught to have manners, to respect people (especially their elders which has shown in all the collaborations they've done with Kenny Rogers, Alabama, Oak Ridge Boys, Don McLean, etc), to love & respect our country & our military! Thank you for reacting to this! 🙏🤗 Merry Christmas! 🎄

    In the middle of Chance using his machete to clear the way I remembered he played the city guy in the Hillbilly bone video and I laughed out loud.

    Allways interesting to see their roots.
    And like all HF's members, Chance is also laid back and have no diva traits (I haven't heard any negative mention off that sort). And thats what's make them so likable, beside theire awsome singing talents.

    Being born and raised in Louisiana, I always relate easily to Tim when he complains about the cold! I generally don’t like extremely hot or cold weather. Lol I can handle 60’s and even mid to upper 50’s, but if it’s colder than that, or higher than 90 degrees, I’m staying indoors as much as possible. Lol I imagine it must have been a huge adjustment for Chance when he moved to L.A.. Like they say, you can take the man/boy out of the country, but you can’t take the country out of the man/boy (or woman/girl). I love Chance’s personality and his singing voice very much! He is very laid back. We just caught a show in Mobile, Alabama on the 7th and did UVIP. We had a few moments to speak with him and he really is very friendly, but so chill. I hope they do a sequel with Home Free there. It could be a combo of “Tim Eats” and Chance’s back home video! Lol I enjoyed your commentary and reaction!

    Lyle thanks for reacting to this. Chance is a lot like the cousins on my mothers side of the family....very quiet, don't trust folks until they get to know them, then you are treated like close family. They stand back and watch folks and assess them. It's ingrained in us Southerners because of history, we just don't trust strangers much until we know ya. Chance is my favorite member of the group I think because I identify with him so much more than any of the others. I think that makes the most sense of it.

      The stand back and watch before making friends is how I was raised here in Michigan, also. I have 10 acres of trees and rolling land that has a herd of 8 deer plus 2 bucks that feed in the yard, a flock of about 12 turkeys and so many rabbits and squirrels in the pines. And three days ago, I saw a red fox go strolling past the house and garage and down the drive like he owns the place.

    Funny how Chance is the most country of them all, in terms of upbringing but Austin is the one that can't seem to drop his Georgia accent. Tim and Chance really speak way clearer than Austin. Made me a little sad watching this video because it brings back memories od my childhood home falling apart after all the kids left and our parents died. Growing up, one never thinks that one day your home may not be there, but live goes on and changes happen.Thanks for the reaction, Cheers!

    That was nice hearing from Adam Chance/ As you say he's the quiet southern gentleman. It doesn't get cold that far south and he's practically on the Gulf of Mexico which means they get the tropical storms and hurricanes. He sure has a beautiful way of living.

    That was a great tour that Adam gave everyone! A wonderful life he had as a kid… Nice to be able to go home. Austin has done a tour of his or you were a group in Tifton Georgia too! You probably like that as well we got to see a little bit of of Tim’s home and eat or to Texas but that’s only because of the flooding… It also be nice to see where you’re from! Which do you want to reactions all the time but don’t know a lot about you! I think that’s why people love them for their share of their lives with everyone rub his share of his love of the Minnesota Vikings and his family with the song spaceship what is up we was born… Adam up shared his wedding day with pictures of the recessional and everyone dancing up the I’ll as they left the church after he was married! Stay safe!!

    In the video of their cover of Hillbilly Bone Chance plays the part of a "city" boy experiencing the county life for the first time. If you haven't reacted to it yet, you'll enjoy.

      That's what makes that part of that video so funny. Having the boy from the deep sticks play the awkward city boy. Like he's never held a chicken or petted a goat before.

    I didn't know much about Adam Chance and I'm happy to have had the opportunity to learn some things. I wish we'd seen his mother in this (we got to see his sister in a behind the scenes video of "In The Blood" when she came with her son & daughters). Thanks for playing this!

  • @carolburnett2926

    Do you have scuppernongs in Australia? This is around the time of year when they ripen in the more northern part of the South. My grandparents had grape vines and some scuppernong vines further down the trellis and I loved being able to just walk up and eat them off the vine. I’m sure you’ve heard of kudzu-the plant that ate the South-that’s what was blocking the road the first time. Watching this made me a little homesick. I’ve lived in the same state all of my life but grew up in the mountains (I’m in the flatlands now) and you cannot take those out of your very being.

    If you were to look up the word "Chill" I think there would be a picture of Chance. haha.
    I would think he is a little torn, thinking about his Mom and the farm, but tied down with projects in L.A.
    It seems like Sami could slide into the whole "Country Girl Vibe." haha
    Anyway, thank you for checking this out. I had seen it before, but as was mentioned elsewhere, it is nice to visit it with you.
    Merry Christmas from Florida.

    I don't think it get too very cold in Alabama...pretty warm place down south. But when certain weather fronts move through in the depths of winter, I image it can drop to very near or slightly below freezing. But not that often. All that firewood is likely because they don't have the house heavily insulated.

    • @bookwormben
      @bookwormben 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The higher humidity actually makes it feel colder than it actually is. Even in Savannah GA, where I’m at, a cloudy, wet 50 degree day can feel pretty miserable

  • @belinda9696
    @belinda9696 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Austin is the one that grew up in Georgia. Chance is Alabama but was born in Florida. They are southern states so it rarely gets cold there. The upper northern US near Canada is the coldest states besides Alaska.

    Actually I think Adam is probably the most private. He showed you his house and hobbies but said nothing about growing up or his family. Unless he's actually preforming with the guys he seems a touch uncomfortable with the camera or maybe just uncomfortable being the center of attention if he isn't on stage.
