You need a surround sound system in the Library, too. 😁 VHS marked with Dolby Pro Logic or Dolby Surround did have surround sound encoded into the tape. I remember as a kid watching Ghost in my bedroom with surround sound and hearing the trains go by in the background in the scene where Sam dies. It just blew my mind...first experience with surround sound at home.
Yes, and when 'Star Wars' movies were reissued and Disney movies were upgraded on VHS with THX surround sound, one can definitely enjoy a more immersive experience. :)
I had a small space at one time. What I did was use the totes to make end tables, or even a coffee table... then I covered them with cloth. When I needed something out of them, I would uncover and remove the item....but I left the totes in place. For the big Christmas trees you could do the same.... like a corner stand, or a end table in the theatre room.
Wished I could have grabbed through the computer! I saw CENTENNIAL!!! I have been wanting that for AGES.... one of the BEST mini series ever made...and the book is one of my all time favorites...probably read it at least 100 times!

Goodwill prices are getting bad everywhere. Here in Florida they had video games marked at $60. They were sealed PS4 games but you can buy them new from real stores for the same price. Not paying those prices at a thrift store when much of the stuff they get is given to them for free.

Ya I passed on a surround sound system for about 10 at a goodwill and when I went back the next day so I would have a system for my outside projector (birthday present) it was gone☹️
Yeah, $10 is a no-brainer and naturally, somebody else would scoop up such a deal.
In Canadian Goodwill stores, Value Village, etc, the surround sound system is usually packaged together for one price, so I've often seen a Sony, RCA, LG, or other surround system for sale between $25 and $40 and the tag would often say something like, "$25 X 7" meaning "$25 for all seven pieces at one price including the receiver, centre speaker, left speaker, right speaker, rear right surround, rear left surround, and subwoofer".

the Walmart here had a great Disney section and anime section. I went shopping yesterday and both sections are gone. but I did pick up Poor Things, Aqua man and Rick and Morty season 7. Poor Things I thought was great, not for the kiddies though.

7:45 The fact that there are so many items piling up unsold at that Florida Goodwill proves that the prices are ridiculous and unrealistic. Goodwill stores, like other thrift stores, need steady turnover of donated products and that might not happen at those increasingly absurd prices.
Fun story- I once dropped my keys in thr storm drain of that Clermont Goodwill. We made a 10ft long hook out of hangers and fished em out. Shoutout the random stranger who helped me. 😊😊😊
Also, check out the thrift stores in Leesburg. I used to do well up there.
That’s always my biggest fear when walking anywhere near a storm drain. So happy you were able to get them out!

It's an acquired taste at first, but I love genuine fresh brewed iced tea of the South and I've requested it whenever my family and I visited South Carolina, Florida, Texas, Alabama, etc.
Frankly in my opinion, Americans don't generally know how to make hot tea properly like the British do (ever since that "little" Boston Tea Party incident), but Southern freshly brewed iced tea is perfect for a hot summer's day. :)

I'm sure that little to no part of that "tub o' cheese" is healthy, but peanut butter can be a slightly better and "healthier" choice. I used to love spreading peanut butter in the sticks' grooves for that great celery crunch. :)

#FamilyLife That goodwill pricing is nuts. I had a Gizmo growing up, so good call. In my silly mind, I was paranoid about getting him wet. I gave up soda for tea as well, but I do occasionally drink a Virgil's black cherry or root beer (like one a week or something). But I don't even want to go near a Coke (or a Sprite in my case). It takes time. Danielle should totally check out a movie called Crazy Samurai: 400 vs 1 (no joke, I have it and it's a blast). I would have picked up the Nightwing at $6. Dave, I would recommend some sunglasses...that sun is just like here in Texas, brutal and unforgiving. Personally, I like a mix of videos, some thrifting, some errand, some check out this historical thing. The mixture seems best.
