Danielle did the right thing by convincing you to pass on the TV VCR combo. Any of those from Symphonic was made by Funai which love to eat tapes so you did the right thing by passing on that!

I had one of those Funai manufactured TV/VCR combos years ago, (I believe mine was an Emerson), and it worked well for many years, up until around 2015 or 2016 I believe when it did eventually start to break down and begin eating tapes. Needless to say, I did eventually end up getting rid of it in late 2017, and replaced it with a much nicer Sharp TV/VCR, that I actually received brand new mint in box, and it still works beautifully to this day!
In the 14+ years that I've been VHS collecting, I've come to realize that any kind of Funai manufactured VCR, you should just stay far, far away from, because they always, and I do mean ALWAYS, end up going bad. I can't even begin to tell you how many of those Funai Manufactured VCR/DVD combos I've gone through over the years! In fact, I currently have 4 of them in my household, and 3 of them are all pretty much busted, and barely work. (The 4th one is still brand new in box, and quite frankly, I'm probably just going to keep it that way).
So yeah, needless to say, I've officially decided that I'm completely done buying any kind of Funai manufactured VCR out there. Luckily I do have the Sharp TV/VCR one, and I also have a nice Sony one that I've been using a lot lately. I should maybe look into getting some more higher end VCR's, so I can finally get rid of all the Funai ones I have once and for all!
@@therealvhsandcdbrony2000 I could not agree more! I had an Emerson TV VCR combo also that lasted for 2 years but it didn't eat tapes that bad. It just wouldn't turn on for some reason on its last day with me. I was nearly raised with funai VCRs unfortunately. I've gone through three combo units and three single VCRs from them. I only had one decent single vcr and too decent combos. The rest obviously ate tapes, no big surprise. I'm definitely not buying any more Funai VCRs unless if someone gives me one for free LOL😆

Okay, here is idea on how to display the ears. Draw a HUGE Mickey head on a blank wall, then use dark shaded ears to form along the outline....making a giant Mickey head outline.... then fill in the head with all the other different shades.... that is what I would do. Another idea would be an "Ear Tree". Get a huge fake tree with no leaves on the branches...and decorate it with ears.... ears could be changed out in either display.... different Holiday, or special day ears. Just some ideas.

My first thing when i saw the library i thought wow it looks smaller but im sure you'll make it fit . Would the glass cabinets fit ok in there and how will you be having rows of shelves etc? .
I always find that the camera mskes things look smaller than real life .

#NoDolls I have some comic relief cds (3 or 4 I believe), it's hard for me to listen to them now though because of Robin Williams. Fantastic collection of comedians though. That was a cute Nightmare Before Christmas snow globe (it can be used for either Halloween or Christmas imo), and I don't even like snow globes all that much. Good start (I do miss Chris, thanks for the dad jokes) and glad you have made it permanently to Florida to be with Danielle.
Also, I dunno, I might be on Danielle's side when it comes to the racks...there might be something that can be done with those so they don't have to come down (or not all of them). Just sleep on it.
